Like it's taken me ages just to write this! But at least its my left wrist not my right . :( Ouch. You poor thing. Are you doped up on painkillers?

Anaya Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 Ahhh! I just got a freaking papercut on my little finger and i've got the worst burning/stinging sensation ever. The skins sliced apart and it's like you can see all the inside layers, entirely gross I know. Reading about your broken wrist Steph makes me sound like a wimpy, whiny, pointless whinger. I feel for you Steph, the pain must be completely unbearable. Sorry to hear about your Hamster Kat and your Bunny Eli. That's really sad.

If you eat anything salty or vinegary and it goes into the cut *ouch*
Barbara Posted July 12, 2008 Report Posted July 12, 2008 I'm so sorry for Eli and Kat. Hope you your wrist gets better soon, Stephy. I broke mine once and it hurt a lot. So I know how you feel. My moan doesn't really matter compared to yours. But here it is: my holiday is over. I had fun even though the weather was so bad for the last 10 days. But that's what you get when you stay in Belgium for the holidays. I'm also very tired because the bed I was sleeping in during the second week of my holiday was so bad. I couldn't sleep properly. So I'm really happy to sleep in my own bed again. I missed my bed, my pillow and my mattress!

I'm in like a angry mood, coz i got woken up, and I have only had like 5hours sleep, cos I kept rolling around all night, and I couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep in, cos i usually like have my hands under the pillows, but ohwell I'll get over it haha.

rising-flame Posted July 14, 2008 Report Posted July 14, 2008 Found out yesterday that my sister's best friend (and her daughter's godmother) died of breast cancer yesterday. It wasn't totally unexpected, she survived a year over what the doctors thought, but I didn't realise she'd gone so far down hill so it was a bit of a shock to get the phone call yesterday. Life sucks at times. She was a really lovely person, and would have made a great mum, and now she and her husband will never have that chance to have children together. Why does Cancer always take the good people?
