^ I'm glad she's OK and that she will be out in a few days! :D

My moan: I have to write a short-story prompted by an image of the Bosnian War from the early 90s. I have a few ideas, but I have writers block. :(

^ Thanks, Cal! :)

She has blood circulation problems and that's the reason why she couldn't stand on her legs. When my dad went to see her last night, she almost fell, he caught her just in time. We thought it had something to do with her diabetes because last August, my dad found her unconscious on the floor because there was something wrong with her blood sugar level.

And she has a cold, which probably didn't help either.

It's not too serious but she has to stay in hospital for the next few days.

That's great news Barbara :) you will be so relieved that she's getting home soon.

Thank you, Cal and mrsbaker. :) Yes, I can't wait until she comes home. I'm going to see her tomorrow. She needs to rest and if the entire family shows up today, that won't happen.

Nothing wrong with a bit of the Macdonald brothers! .....though preferably not the bit that sings....

I'm fed up of feeling like I'm some sort of failure for hating clubbing, and opting for an early night under my duvet instead. For a friend who's so open minded it all seems a bit....narrow of them. And I really shouldn't be feeling peer pressure at nineteen years of age...

Foxy, Your're been the level headed one, here.!!

I soo don't blame you, you stick to your guns, you'll be a hell lot richer and healthier :) . Than your freinds will be.

Tis your life, how will your mates feel, if you put them. In the same situation!! ...

Chat to them explain, Clubbing an you don't mix :P

Don't stress out too, much abt it, will you Hun!!?

I've explained it many time before to them and they never seem to get it.....and I refuse to let it get to me cos, like you say, it's my life, and I've always pretty much lived it however I darn well pleased. It's just very frustrating when a friend who you think you know extremely well just can't seem to grasp that I don't 'club'......People are weird! lol

Ah you're certainly not the only one Nick! I also hate clubbing - I much prefer to just go and have a few drinks somewhere where you don't have to shout to have a conversation.... my mate eventually realised the same :P

The annoying thing is when they organise these things and expect you to come, when they know full well that you don't like that sort of thing - and then seem put out when you say no thanks!

the problem with clubbing is the musics is generally, too loud and abysmyll to listen to.

I'm with you Dan, much prefer to sit in a pub and have a couple of drinks and a chat.

I agree and I don't! It all depends on what music and what mood I'm in. If it's all that dance rubbish and 70's-80's I always give it a miss. I do love just sitting in a pub and having a laugh and a chat with my mates. My favourite is pub quizzes you can have such a laugh and it doesn't normally cost that much. Were as a pub crawl can cost a fortune.
