Di Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 I cut my big toe last Sunday, cutting my nails it's taking a while to heel. So I went to A&E Friday. With me having reduced Kidney funtion, I have to be careful about things others would not blink a eye at. As I have a reduced kidney funtion. They don't want to give meds for inflamtion or antibiotics. Cuase it will make my Kidneys function worse, mean I'll get ill with pain etc... The A&E nurse was waay cool abt things, As I said I felt daft going for such a small thing, he said it's a very dif area to heel so got to keep a close eye on it. And DO go back if not happy... So I came home with a supply of Packs of sterile saline, softswab and Dressings. Also the tape to stick my dressings on with. Tom had a couple of minor issues this last week too , He's doing much better now thankfully. Tom is much better for the moment anyway I have just been to see the nurse at our GP surgery, She has sent a swab off to be tested for infection. As my toe is still pretty swollen and red and hot. Still pretty sore. I have stayed in all weekend, to give it a chance to heel. As everytime I put me trainers on despite the dressing, it rubbed my toe making it very, very painful to walk.
valli Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 I have an almost three year old cat and she's really sweet, but cleaning her toilet... not so sweet Disgusting is more like it. And for some reason, it's always me who ends up doing it. One time my dad called and it was my sister who answered. He told us to do some chores, including cleaning the toilet. Then my sister doesn't tell me, and does all the easy ones herself and leave all the dirty work for me. First then she lets me know It's so annoying!

Barbara Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 My "friend" (she's more a classmate than a friend, we don't see each other outside of uni) is mad at me because I haven't done my part of our assignment. If I didn't do it, it's because she forgot to tell me we had an assignment to make. Last Thursday, I didn't go to uni because I wasn't feeling well. On Friday, I asked her what they did and if we had to do something for next Thursday. She told me what they did but she didn't tell me anything about an assignment. Now I only have 36 hours to do my part of the assignment. She's the one who skips some classes every week and I always tell her what we did and what we have to do. I even take sheets for her when she's "ill". I'm the one who should be mad at her.

I'm beginning to notice my decline in feminine attitude and increase in other problems.

I got an infection so I'm on even more antibiotics for two weeks , can't have a opertaion untill the infection has cleared. So I'm on Cefalexin 500mg x 3 times a day for my infection/inflammed kidneys. On Flucloxacillin 250mg x 4 times a day. For my toe infection.
KaitieL Posted March 14, 2008 Report Posted March 14, 2008 I can't sleep. It's been drivnig me crazy for the past few nights. My son isn't sleeping through anymore and he wakes up at 2am, usually when i'm going to bed and he won't sleep unless he's in our bed. Then I can't sleep because he takes up all the room and I get kicked and left with only little room. So I get about 5/6 hrs of interrupted sleep until he wakes up at 7/8 am. He has a nap at 10ish but by that time I can't get back to sleep. So I usually nap when hubby gets home from work for a couple of hours and then when it's bedtime, I can't sleep, like now! And it keeps going round and round. I hate children sometimes. I'm never having anymore kids. Anyone want mine?
