^^ I don't like them either. :( I hope it's nothing serious.

My moan:

Each year, my father's football club organizes a feast. The feast lasts 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). And each year, I have to go and help them. I always help on Sundays. My job is to serve the desserts (ice cream or pies) and coffee. It's not that bad, except when people are complaining. <_<

What I don't like is the fact that the older players who usually don't play anymore, their wives or their children come to help when a lot of the younger players don't. Even worse, they don't even come and eat. It's their club. They could show some support.

^^That would annoy me too. There's more to committing to a team than just turning up to play on match days.

My moan: I have a very long essay to write. I'm struggling to get started. It's due in a few days. I've spent most of the day online and just stating at various sources of information. It's as though I have some sort of mental block that won't let me work out how to get this essay done.

I cut my big toe last Sunday, cutting my nails  it's taking a while to heel. So I went to A&E Friday. With me having reduced Kidney funtion, I have to be careful about things others would not blink a eye at.

As I have a reduced kidney funtion. They don't want to give meds for inflamtion or antibiotics. Cuase it will make my Kidneys function worse, mean I'll get ill with pain etc... The A&E nurse was waay cool abt things, As I said I felt daft going for such a small thing, he said it's a very dif area to heel so got to keep a close eye on it. And DO go back if not happy...

So I came home with a supply of Packs of sterile saline, softswab and Dressings. Also the tape to stick my dressings on with.

Tom had a couple of minor issues this last week too , He's doing much better now thankfully.

I'm back from the feast. I'm exhausted. Everything hurts: my back, my feet, my hands... :(

Everything went ok until the end of the feast. Then when everyone had left, we had to clean and put everything back (dishes, pans, glasses, tables, chairs...).

Most of the few younger football players who showed up to help left just before the cleaning up. There were only 12 people left (including my mum, my dad, my sister, my aunt, my cousin and me). Half of those people were related to me.

There was just one customer who complained because she had to wait for 15 minutes to get her coffee or her dessert. Well, excuse me, we only have two hands and there was more than 100 people in the room. She wasn't the only one who asked for a coffee or a dessert.

One of the older players was a pain in the neck today. Actually he's annoying most of the time. He thinks he's the boss. He didn't do much. Most of the time, he was talking to people or bossing us around instead of taking people's orders. He's never going to change. <_<

There are some positive things though. I didn't break a thing. Nobody got hurt by touching broken glass (that usually happens every year). They made some profit. And I ate some great food. :)

Moans: TV Week didn't come out today, the sound and occasionally the sound cut out repeatedly during Days of Our Lives earlier, all the copies of Bender's Big Score were out, and I'm feeling increasingly undervalued at the video shop: I get three hours a week if that, causing me to kill a lot of my time on here, feeding my internet addiction (although working at the shop has probably fed my TV addiction for the last two years), and virtually all of my memos related to DVDs that need name changes are being ignored - I'm at a loss to figure out why this is apparently a problem beyond the shop's control, even when two movies that don't belong in the same category are irreversibly fused by having the same name.
