Gets complicated doesn't it - just as well it's not real. ?

I really thought Leah would accept Bree's offer to get proper advice/counselling, but no she wants to go the not so easy route and have some sleeping pills to 'just get her this period'.   She nearly told Justin too but then chooked out and told him it was about organising the wedding.  But as we know you can't force someone to admit they need help.

Alf, methinks, is enjoying his teasing of Marilyn. He dismissed the comment Maz showed him about the woman had made about changing of lives, remembering he saved her life when she was young but is now a doctor, but he did look rather chuffed about it.

Certainly made a change for Remi to take charge. Eden's unnecessary panicking and they were up and running. Was it just me or did Kirby change outfits between leaving the house and getting on stage?  Oh we know it's going to rebound on Xander with his 'brilliant' idea of 2-1 cocktails without asking Mac or Flick's OK but as neither were available and the gig was for that night what was he to do.  We did see in the preview the night before Mac having a right go at him but wasn't there last night.

Alf's episode count this week:Three.

Well, after Mackenzie had put Xander through the gauntlet of whether or not they were going to turn a profit, he not only came out fine but got himself a bonus too! I doubt Mackenzie cleared it with Flick, but then they don't seem to be talking about anything these days. And Lyrik are back on top! Or at least comfortably hanging around mid-table. And another relationship milestone for Remi and Bree!

Tane and Felicity are badly in need of having their heads banged together now: Both of them are deeply frustrating. Tane refusing to have any sort of discussion with her at all is stubborn to say the least (we did get the subject of their land tied off, although his lack of interest in his family losing money was disappointing), while Felicity just seems desperate to put as much blame as possible on Mackenzie, who at least gave as good as she got.

To Quote Michael "Rhys" Beckley in a 2004 newspaper interview

"If you lived in Summer Bay for real, you'd last about three hours!"

I thought the way Remi asked Bree to meet his parents was kind of sweet, it is a big step for any relationship.

Felicity's childishness with Mac was infruriating, she put herself in the mess, no-one but she has also conviently forgotten that had she been thrown out by Tane, which he could've done, Mac would've been the first to offer the room to her anyways.

I enjoyed watching the kickboxing/MMA scene with Tane, seeing someone demonstrating a honed craft is always great, glad too that they have kept up the cultural subtlties, so often soaps forget after a while (the shoes)  and the haggard look has been well-done by the hair and makeup team too.

OK hands up I was wrong about Xander's idea backfiring - it worked  - luckily for him.  Neither Mac or Flick were consulted, he juts went ahead and did it.

Just knew when Mac offered Tane a place to stay Flick would find out and lose it and accuse Mac of taking sides which from her perspective  of things she is doing.  I think I'd feel the same. Naturally Flick had to find out the way she did, seeing Mac give Tane the house keys making it look like it was being done behind her back.  In real life, I guess it should be Flick leaving as it is Tane's house but then Cash would be in  a difficult position, he's have to leave too and where would he go?  Tane feels it's too soon to 'talk' with Felicity as he's still hurting too much. But on the other side there is a danger of it being left too long.  Was Tane 'lying' when he married Felicity as he knew she didn't want children  and was OK with it but hoping she'd change her mind?  Did Felicity  say she never wanted children or that she wasn't sure if she ever wanted to have them which is not the same thing.

He may be exhausting himself but him taking his anger  out on that poor punchbag is a lot better than him taking it out on doors/walls.

Lyrik, apart from some people's feeling about them went down very well.  Is Justin back as manager?   Theo did mention in passing, he was dong his TAFF, running the garage and now he's been roped in to looking at Wedding venues.

Following on from that, it appears Remi's mum and dad keep up on what he is doing as they must have seen how well Lyrik had done on Lyrik's social media page and know where he is to be able to send that sumptuous hamper. They haven't been spoken of much before as happens in a lot of soaps.

Did smile at Bree's comment about who is paying for this lavish meal.?   It's not just any meal either, it's his parent's 35th Wedding Anniversary meal.   I'm being conventional here so does that mean Remi is younger than we thought  he was or did mum and dad marry after he was born?  He revealed  she is the first woman he would be asking them to meet, small step for mankind but a giant leap for Remi.   Certainly not any old 'umble abode they've got it is it?   From the looks of the preview it started off OK but then went a bit downhill.  Remi never told his mum and dad  about how they met, though why would he?

Despite other people's insistence that Remi is much older, he's actually only 31 (which is the same age as the actor).

(I guess someone's either been reading the article on the site or already seen Monday's ep, as the fact it's their 35th anniversary wasn't actually mentioned in Friday's C5 ep/promo ?)

Some people never learn.

Whilst I haven't liked her, I did find Leah biting Rose's head off quite amusing and her facial expression when Rose rocked up at her place and the Diner also.

I also found Marilyn's uncomfortable look when Alf asked her and Roo if they were lying re the whole article thing funny.

Whilst I think Felicity is clearly in the wrong, I think Tane has to take some responsibility.  He thought he could change someone who fundamentally can't be changed.  He proposed to her despite the fact she didn't want to get married.  She only married him because she didn't want to lose him, not because she wanted to engage in married life.  As I said at the time, marriage is one thing because there's always divorce but having kids is different.  Tane indicated he accepted her decision not to have them so when she changed her mind and carried on with the contraception, I accept that was really bad.  However, the way he's reacted - hitting Cash (purely because he thought Cash knew and didn't say anything), declaring to Felicity that their marriage is over, moving in with Mackenzie and cancelling the sale on the land they bought in NZ (thereby losing the deposit) - leads me to believe even if she hadn't put him through that, it would have been a big problem eventually anyway.

Not dissing Remi or Adam Rowland in any way, but he does look older than 31, perhaps it's the beard.
