I don’t think I care that much about Justin and Leah how did they get caught and locked inside a random warehouse there’s no lead up too it

Kirby she sounded quite good on her own it’s quite funny she seems to have written the best songs for herself and her outfit was better than she has ever worn in the band I think she should just go for it it probably won’t last forever so she might has well get some professional experience

Tane and Felcity let’s be real they kinda have run out of stories

See you all next year if I carry on watching

I thought the Christmas break has been mentioned by other cast members during the week and we did know this week was the last one before Christmas so not a surprise.

I think and just my opinion, we were asked to suspend  our disbelief a tad with Leah being able to climb up to the roof and escape without  any injury.  Of course she was hallucinating when she 'saw' Justin telling her to get up.  Small niggle and it's not something I usually zone in on but how come Leah's nails were so perfect, not a  break or chip on them.??

Writing was on the wall when Irene thought she'd escaped any charges as she hadn't heard anything from the cops which Rose backed up, but no disrespect  to Rose she is only a constable so wouldn't know what the higher ups had in mind. She was charged with hindering a police investigation not harbouring a fugitive.  Is that lesser charge?

John must read my mind him suggesting getting Roo involved with Alf's Tribute, she'd have tons of stories and photos  of him from back in the day.  It'd stop her just sitting on the sofa with her mind going to mush.

You could practically hear and see the wheels going round in Eden and Remi's minds.  They were kidding themselves and each other,  there was no way they would miss it. Kirby's face when she saw them was  a delight.  But where was Flick and Tane?

I thought Angela Tomson - Kirby - had a great voice and although her outfit was amazing it wasn't 'her' style, the outfits she was given were from the record company as they decided it was how she should  look.  That is nothing new of course, when record companies get their claws into  a band or single artist, they think this is the image they should be projecting.  She couldn't even choose so got the folk on social media to pick one.

I thought she was supposed to be one smart cookie but she is being far too niave in thinking she can just walk away from her contract - however long it is - and saying Forrest is a reasonable guy - has she met him?   Wasn't she as just as sure that a solo career was the best thing for her which may be why Remi wasn't as enthusiastic  as Eden or Theo. They have to build up their fan base again and they have been mucked about a lot.

Have good one, bit too early to say the MC words, but see you next year. ?

So Cash didn't tell Eden he was hanging out with Harper as well as Tane and Felicity.  Eden went back to being annoying re her attitude towards Bree although I did find her reaction at the scene where Felicity had a go at Cash for not giving a heads up about Tane quite amusing.  It's not that Tane wanted something Felicity couldn't give him, it's that he wanted something Felicity wouldn't give him.  In saying that, I don't agree with her decision to change her mind about having kids.  I haven't liked how she's excluded Tane from certain decisions in a couple of instances but I've always respected the fact that she's been very open about certain things.  I still believe she didn't want to get married but did it because she didn't want to lose him.  Marriage is one thing as there is an out with divorce but children are totally different.  The problem is she's quite aware of the fact that Tane would resent her eventually and possibly want to end things.

I'm with Remi regarding Kirby.  Her decision to go back to Lyrik despite signing a contract with Forrest makes her come across as fickle, so she can't be trusted.  And it's also not good because it seems as though she's put her former bandmates through all of that for nothing.

I have to admit, it did find it quite amusing that Irene thought she'd escaped the charges only to see her horror (and John's) when Rose turned up with one of her colleagues to arrest her.  Presumably they'll arrest Harper next.

It's amazing, even in a life or death situation, Leah still doesn't shut up.

Yes, despite the usual cries of "The end is nigh" during the break, we're back, on Channel 5, in the usual blocks, not quite in the usual time yet but that'll be tomorrow.

Given this was designed as the big UK return...not a lot happened, really, with the characters basically in the same place we left them before the break or at least a close approximation of it.Leah has traded a deserted isolated building for deserted isolation bushland. Irene is still under arrest, now joined by Harper. Kirby still isn't sure if she can rejoin Lyrik.

John blaming Harper and Dana for what happened...he might have a point but it isn't particularly helpful. This has a strong whiff of following the letter of the law rather than the spirit, with even Rose seeming frustrated at what she's been told to do, although her threatening to throw Dana out for making valid points didn't show her in a particularly good light.

Kirby continues to come across as rather naive, and even when she realises she might not be able to get out of the contract, she somehow interprets giving Forrest time to cool down as a suggestion to track him down and pester him!

YEH -  was  back early, sneaky that.  HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.

In Aussie terms of course, it would have been normal for them, it was just us that had the break.  Shame it was a bit dark in that factory so we couldn't properly see where Leah was Leah was clamouring about and she found a door which she was able to get out of lucky eh.  All that climbing about and not a nail chipped.?   It did transpire when she was having her fevered rant with Justin, they had been ambushed by the cult and was blaming him.   I'm guessing by the state of her they hadn't been watered or fed.

Back in't bay still no-one has clocked they haven't heard anything from  Leah or Justin boasting about their holiday.  I had a glimmer of hope when Theo said he'd call Justin about Kirby's problem with Forrest and wondering why he couldn't reach him, but then it seemed to have got forgotten.

May not have been the ideal place to arrest Irene but what else could she had done, asked her outside so she could do it in relative privacy?

More down to Harper than Dana, she was the one who kept the fact Dana was staying there from Irene even when she came back.  Dana not being in the frame anymore is a free agent but back then of course she was a fugitive.

I guess that is the problem with being a local cop, you sometimes have to arrest the people you have come to know and like, not the detachment there would be if you're not a local which it seems the other Yabby Creek cops are.  Naturally Cash just had to be in a meeting about the other problem tied in with Dana's, not that he could have done much seeing as he's suspended.

Irene told Rose the way it was for her when she came back and found out about Dana, no covering up just told it as it was. She did seem quite philosophical about it at the end.  Did smile at John's advice when you're interviewed just say No comment until your lawyer gets there.  OK no-one about to be able to grant Irene and Harper bail so both been banged up for the night.   Going off on a tandem - who was looking after the Diner, who would have  been locking up?

Definitely agree there Kirby is being totally naive, I know she's new to all this recording contract marlarkey but even so she can't really think Forrest would let her out  of it that easily?  It's not just the company's rep on the line, it's his, he found her.  Remi, conveniently has gone AWOL.

We did see that obviously Leah was found and was able to lead the rescuers to Justin who of course had to be in  a very  bad way.  Bree came racing to the rescue.

Well, Leah and Justin have been found but Justin at least isn't out of the woods yet.Leah was kind of fortunate that the friendly driver that found her didn't turn out to be another disgruntled cult member, which briefly crossed my mind! Cash rushing to the hospital (seemingly without letting Irene or John know what was going on) was a bit of a stretch but I guess he was in the episode and he was heavily involved in all the Vita Nova stuff.Justin really does seem to be on the edge at the climax.

The charges against Irene and Harper continue to be farcical, as Cash makes no bones about: They protected an innocent woman from a criminal who tried to murder her, he was "the police" in name only. Assuming the whole force isn't corrupt, it seems like a lot of red faces want to punish people who did their job for them.  I'm afraid Eden's attitude towards Remi annoyed me a bit. Maybe he is being stubborn but everyone else is being absurdly optimistic and she's got no right to try and force him into being happy about the latest twist in the Lyrik saga.
