I feel for Cash as it strikes me that policing isn't just a job to him, it really is a calling;  I could imagine him as a kid having a police dress up costume, because obviously Gary was a big influence on him even before he took them on so to suddenly lose the job that is a cornerstone of who you are would be huge. I

Also I think, A) because of his training and B) Because Flick's always been the disaster area needing to be cleaned up, he's had to learn to bottle any emotions up and supress them because there wasn't really a Person for him that now, even with Eden, it's a foreign concept, hoping he keeps his job though.

I do partially agree with Eden in the sense of Dana's stupidity from Day One and Harper's doing the wrong thing by trying to coddle her and at least Dana does see that and is trying.

Re: Tane's parents, if memory serves, on the BTTB biog it says mother alive but father deceased but I'm not 100% sure.

I agree about not buying Flick's excuses, she seemed insincere about it but I think she was trying to paint herself in a better light than maybe admitting that she hates the idea of sick, screaming and responsibility, which is fine, but her trying to blunt the edges with maybes isn't necessarily fair either.

While I’m groaning at the start of a baby storyline for Tane and Felcity two characters I have grown very tired of Felicity I’m not sure you’re point of not wanting a baby because of evil people holds up I would say it makes sense when you live somewhere like Summer Bay but this year even that has been pretty quiet on the villain front

Felicity did handle it better this time round and put her case for not having children across very well.  Let's hope Tane takes that on and just let it be, if she changes her mind she does, if she doesn't he'll have to accept it.  Mind you,  when we first met Tane who would have thought he'd be the boss of a successful gym and married.  Both he and Flick have changed a lot since they first got together.  Interesting talk between Eden and Flick re their lives now and  how it was back when they first knew each other.  Flick certainly wouldn't have seen herself married and Eden wouldn't have seen herself being in a relationship with Cash, that is how life turns out sometimes.

If it happens Cash will have a big adjustment to make to his life.  It's good that Eden is there for him even if she doesn't fully grasp what it could mean, but no-one, unless they have been in that position, could.  Let's hope the board see sense and recognise he didn't do it for his own purposes and didn't benefit in any way so drop his suspension.   Dana was innocent of what she was charged with due to Olly & Madden colluding and planting the drugs on her.  I think it was her previous convictions when she was using drugs that went against her.  Cash was getting a bit ? when Dana and Harper kept thanking him as I don't think he needed to be kept being reminded of it.  Cash, too, would have absolutely no idea of how the DPP will act on Irene and Harper hiding Dana.

From what has been said it looks like Harper and Dana are sticking around, a  new nurse at ND's Hospital anytime soon me thinks?  What about Harper's job though? Irene, to me it seemed, was putting on a brave front to Dana & Harper when she ushered them out she could see how scared she really is about the thought of going to prison.  ?it'll be a suspended sentence and a GBB.

Leah did pull a Justin there, he's done plenty of things without consulting her.?   He did ask why Irene didn't offer to out up Marilyn which she probably normally would have but she has got a full house at the moment.  The thought did cross my mind why couldn't she go to John's, they get on well enough and he knows her funny little ways.  He did enquire about a caravan being  free but as Alf has shut the park that's knocked that on the head.  Good challenge from Leah that Justin be the one to tell Maz she couldn't stay which he bottled.   How long did he stick it when Marilyn moved in to look after him while Leah was in Cyprus?  That was short notice from the hospital Roo would be going home the next day!  Just as well Justin was handy to fix the handrails.

One thing what did Roo tell  her OT and consultant  when they asked if there would be someone there for her because no way would they have allowed her out if they knew she would be at Home Alone.  Sorry couldn't resist. There is cleaning, cooking, getting up and down the stairs,  needing help getting in and out of bed., washing, bathing.  It did look like Marilyn was threatening to tell Alf about being evicted if Roo didn't let her stay.  Maz only takes so much before she turns.

I did find it funny that Justin and Theo were trying their best to avoid Marilyn with her crying and Justin offering a awkward cup of hot lemon water and Marilyn offering Theo scrambled tofu What even is that?
Marilyn is very annoying yes and I don’t really care about her friendship with Roo because I think Roo is really quite horrible sometimes you just have to stop trying and I think Marilyn should Roos friendship isn’t worth it in my opinion

I see Malis silly dancing has gone viral

The only good thing is that everyone has stopped pretending that being friends with Marilyn is akin to having someone insisting on sitting next to you while scraping their fingernails against a chalkboard.Justin and Theo are doing everything they can to avoid her, after some brilliant honesty from Justin, while Roo gives her some withering putdowns. And still she thinks she has value! When she whined that she can't lie to Alf, I really wanted someone to say "Well, you had no problem lying about having a daughter for 26 years, so maybe you should tap into that."

It makes sense that Kirby would be missing having her friends around during the build-up to a gig, even with Rose trying her best to be a substitute.Maybe she should have invited Theo over.I'm glad Irene confided in John again and, despite his usual talent for saying the wrong thing, he actually gave her decent advice. It's nice that he still considers Kirby a friend too despite their fleeting association.

I bet they couldn't clear "Pony",  (expensive and prob a bit on the nose).so they had that generic number for that Mali scene?

It's Vego stuff which usually hit and miss. Tofu's decent depending on prep but I want something Dead and Cooked on my plate ATEOTD?

What is ATEOTD?

Marilyn does need to remember she is living in someone else's house so shouldn't force her choice on them.. She didn't do that at Alf's, she did her thing  and  Roo & Alf did theirs. Did chuckle that Theo would rather tidy his room than be with Maz.

Roo is being ultra stubborn just because she doesn't want Marilyn there to help.  OK she can make a sandwich but she can't live on them till Alf gets back.  Is Leah expected to cook her meals and bring them round every day?  Is Irene going to be roped in so they can take turns?  Roo is lying to Alf now but it's got to happen, he'll ring either Roo or Maz and ask to speak to the other one so if Maz has been banned how do they get round that one?  Did love Marilyn's ultimatum - either you let me stay or I'll tell Alf. Of course Maz does feel responsible for Roo's injuries - as Roo keeps reminding her - so probably why she thinks she ought to be there.  I did feel for poor Theo being piggy in the middle when Leah ditched him.

I know it was a secret that Irene was 'hiding' Dana but  has Leah really not noticed how distracted Irene has been?  I know, I know, neither did Marilyn but she has had problems of her own.  John, as said, in his own endearing blundering way did offer Irene good advice and is even going with her to a solicitor/lawyer to see what the possible implications could be.

It is totally different this time round for Kirby, she hasn't got Eden, Remi and Theo to be there for her when she hits the stage this time, she'll be on her own no back up.  Rather poignant her telling Rose of how it used to be, her and Eden hunting round second hand clothes shops for their gear,  then adapting them to how they wanted them.  The gear they were wearing at Battle of The Bands looked pretty nifty.  That gear was quite spectacular so no wonder she was flummoxed and Rose not being into all that didn't help, does she pick one that looks good while just standing still, can she move in it?     Really going back her saying she didn't want a wardrobe malfunction. Now Felicity would have been the one to help. She did have the? moment by getting those who were going to be there to choose.

Mali's secret is out then, not that he was doing anything wrong, he was just dancing with the bride to be.  I know most of you hate his dancing but the ones that mattered liked it.

I'm guessing ATEOTD is "at the end of the day"? Huh, is it worrying I can think like a teenager?

Marilyn forcing her dietary choices on people has long been one of her more annoying qualities. Another reason for Roo to not want her doing the cooking! I did quite like Roo beating Marilyn at her own game and concluding "Fine, I need someone with me, doesn't mean it has to be you", first roping in Theo and then deciding to hire a nurse. I'm assuming Bree was playing a big bluff here, since I'm not sure she had any way to legally force Roo to return to hospital if she'd stuck to her guns.

Mali really just kept digging trying to hide that video from Rose, didn't he? In the end, her knowing was a bit of a non-event, although it's left Xander hoping for a new star attraction!

Remi was behaving like a bear with a sore head, and Bree didn't deserve a lot of what he said to her, but I think Kirby only has herself to blame here: Remi was doing his best to be civil but she just had to push it too far. I'd have thought Remi would be happy to be paid for playing again but I guess it feels like a step down. It sounds like it's still a creative process though, with him adding his own bits to the band's album, even if he does probably miss the connection with an audience that he's talked about in the past.

?  Good one Red.

Now I think differently re Bree's comments  to Roo about her having to go back into hospital if there is no-one to look after her as that was a condition of her going home. She was wearing her doctor's head not her friends head. To be fair to Maz she did  let Alf & Roo have what they wanted food wise. Neither of them won in a way,  Roo conceded she did have to have someone there but Marilyn lost her 'blackmail' over her. Poor Theo I did feel  for him, Leah walked off to deal with a problem at work and never came back, he didn't have  any idea how to handle Roo but he did right in raising the alarm, then skedaddled as soon as he could.  I get it Roo can't be just sitting there all day doing nothing, she will need to get some exercise and walk about a bit but her trying to prove to Marilyn she was 'fine' took it out of her,   she's only been out  a day!  What will Roo tell Alf when he rings, will she tell him Maz is still there or admit she's got  a nurse in?

Rose was very canny acting like she didn't know anything about his video, then cleverly asking him to dance for her.   She did ask if anything had gone on off film - as if.  I know most on here think his dancing was rubbish but the ones who are willing to pay him to turn up at their Hen Do's don't'.   Is Xander angling for commission if he ever decides to accept the offers? Then Zara pops up and is it just me or does she look uncannily like Rose?

I think I  can see where Remi is coming from, he was in a semi successful band just on the brink of the big time but now he's reduced to being a session musician - no offence to them btw - yes it's bringing in money which is something more than Eden ever does - but it must feel like he's starting all over.   He also feels he owes Bree for paying the rent and other bills which is probably why he snapped at her - a male thing.  Kirby was pushing it, should just have left it when he first said no to going to her Launch.  Maz can go now as she won't need to look after Roo.
