Leah at least has been mentioned as visiting Roo in the city. Not sure about Irene.

Marilyn really can't take a hint, can she: What was the plan, to annoy Roo into being friends with her again? Alf was never going to take Roo's side, but at least he's not flying off the handle at her. Mali did get to visit Roo and get a thank you but it only served to underline for her that he and John are both back to their old selves while she's still stuck in hospital.

Eden and Remi holing themselves away, getting drunk and trying to write a song out of it, was quite amusing. It seems Bree's filled them in on the full story of Kirby's role in the band's demise, and despite spending a lot of time grousing about her, Eden did at least suggest trying to get in touch. Her song about betrayal seems to have struck a bit too close to home, but then that's how her last song started!

I'm glad Rose has had an honest conversation with her mum, whose life could have been very different if she'd just tried talking to people. I'm glad also that she got back in touch with Samuel, after Mali belatedly passed on his message, and they're going to see him.

As Foellfan has very eloquently said it's not just the physical injuries it's the mental ones that you suffer from after what Roo went through.   Bree can kind of emphasise with her there after what she went through with Jacob.  Hope H&A treat it sympathetically and don't just forget about it.  As an aside I hope we see Roo ask to see Mali and thank him on screen for trying to warn her and John and getting them out of the van in time.

L a little bit of light relief so thank you John.  For all his talk of being an ex sailor and able to handle his drink it didn't work out that way did it?  ?   But if he'd imbibed some of that A$500.55  whisky (how much?!)

Thank you, as again we saw today the kind of pained frustration of being stuck as everyone moves on from the accident, it can be almost soul-destroying for the patient at times because, as is often the case, rehab isn't an open/shut thing like say a fracture and it's that open-ended feeling too that can turn someone half-way crazy.

I think, though no entirely accurate, that whisky in GBP is about £300 but I did hear a while back of a rare whisky being sold at Sothebys, I think the guide price was £11000!

Marilyn apologising for essentially not planning to make regular visits to someone supposed to be close to her whilst they were recovering in hospital after they were injured.  Hmmmm...where have I heard that before?  It was funny how she went crying straight to Alf the first time Roo asked her to leave when she came to visit her at the hospital.  It feels like Roo is being made to look like the bad guy because she's understandably frustrated not being back to full mobility but it's all about poor Marilyn's hurt feelings.  I suspect Irene will probably want to defend Marilyn and Leah too.

You can argue it's good that Rose and Mali have made up but I'm not really convinced with this relationship.  Rose is clearly a decent police officer but she sometimes comes across as cold and directs it at the people close to her.  The first time she and Mali had a relationship, it didn't work out and I can't help but think that eventually, he's going to get fed up and call it quits.

I was very critical of them initially and didn't like their scenes at all but I really hope it's not the end for Lyric.  Hopefully they can get Theo back on board and possibly recruit someone to replace Kirby.

I don't remember Leah going to see Roo in the city and by the way they greeted each other at ND's it sounded  and looked like they hadn't seen each other for ages.  Is Roo forgetting she got herself involved with Marilyn & SO, Marilyn wanted to keep her friends out of all the threats they were making to keep her friends safe.  OK, OK I know Roo had a very bad reaction to their sun lotion  which is why Marilyn stopped selling their products.  But once they did Roo took  it upon herself to get Maz into the interviews talking about how SO operated.  Then, going to be boring here, but it was her that sent that last text to the CEO of SO.   Roo was, as mentioned,  on life support for a good while so not able to have visitors.

I'm so glad we saw on screen Roo thank Mali for saving her life and although she was glad he'd (and John) had recovered she did feel as she put it left behind.   Must, in a way, be even worse now she's at ND so close to home yet so far.   I wonder how Alf told Roo about John "Oh Palmer had to get himself in hospital didn't he?" Nothing wrong with him really but had to make a fuss".

Oh and Irene's back from wherever having had a call from Alf telling her Roo's home and he thinks she may be able to help her recovery.  I'm guessing there may need to be some jiggling around with sleeping arrangements at the Stewart house,  luckily they are big rooms, wide doorways for a wheelchair, a  temporary ramp may also be needed for getting up and down to the verandah.  Is there a downstairs loo/bathroom there?

That was a fleeting visit by Rose to her mum, but at least she now knows why she left  Samuel.  Yvette was worried he'd interfere in the way she brought Rose up.  May be a good idea for Rose to take Mali along to see Samuel, she won't feel so overwhelmed as he does come  across a tad strong.  I'm guessing, as we didn't hear, what Rose told Xander about her visit, that he was OK about it.

Wow Remi's parent's had quite the pad didn't they and that was their holiday home.?  It seemed, without being said, Bree had filled them in about the whole Kirby and the copyright thing.  It wasn't helping Eden's mood reading all about the launch of Kirby's solo career, torturing herself  a tad there.    Did laugh at the "What has made you happiest" question and Remi said "falling in love with Bree" and Eden said "Me too"  then added  with Cash of course.?  Which did give her the idea of writing a kind of love song about being left, but finding  herself not being able to finish it.   Lyrik as we know it may be finished, Remi said they'd survived earlier set backs  as in Bob leaving.  As an aside was that a photo of a clear shaven Remi we saw?   Remi had given the impression his folks weren't totally behind his choice of music career but the fact they had that poster of LYRIK and photos of him there leads you to think otherwise.

I did feel for Eden when she said how much she was missing Kirby; that's the hardest thing when a close friendship like that is torn up like that and the sad thing is, even though you can sometimes repair it to a degree sometimes the scars cause a permanent shift.

Obviously we didn't see Leah visiting Roo because Roo's been off screen for months. It was Leah who told Marilyn that Roo hadn't said anything about blaming her the other week.

So, yes, Irene's return has meant Harper and Dana having the run of the house is at an end...or is it? Irene seemed to cotton on to what was going on, at least in broad strokes, pretty quickly, but at least it meant she had Madden pegged as a bad egg from the start. It's not entirely clear what Cash can tell anti-corruption without mentioning Dana's call, although Madden does seem to have left a lot of things out of evidence and a lot of things unexplored.

Felicity was in full-on force of nature mode here. I loved how excited she was about being able to drive again, quickly angling at giving Cash a lift like a newly-qualified youngster. And it's just like her to avoid Tane by driving all the way to Remi's holiday home: She doesn't do things by halves, does she! Not that I approve of her avoiding Tane, but sometimes you just have to go with it where she's concerned. It's hard to tell whether his actual proposal is better or worse to her than what she was expecting.

I can't say I blame Eden and Remi for being cold towards Kirby: She might not have known about the copyright issue, but now she does and she's just passively going along with it. Her reaction to their question about what she'd done to help them suggested she hasn't even thought about that. I did like her reaction to Mac's present though!

I wouldn’t mind if Tane and Felicity moved to New Zealand I do find them boring together I guess they are going for the story of two people who don’t really work together as a married couple though

I think Eden and Remi should ask Felicity to join the band But I sense Kirby is already having doubts

I knew Irene would fight Marilyn's corner re Roo albeit with pressure from Alf.  I did find the scenes with Harper and Taylor dealing with Irene returning home quite amusing.

Madden really is a piece of work (I have to say the actor is doing a really good job, particularly in the scenes with Cash).  Harper was lucky Irene clocked onto the fact something was up or anything could have happened.

I don't think Felicity/Tane is like Rose/Mali and I hope I'm wrong, but I'm seeing red flags such as her not telling him about facing her attacker and now childishly running of because she wasn't adult enough to have a conversation she believed would be uncomfortable.  Even Eden didn't agree with how she was acting.

I did feel a bit sorry for Kirby when she went to speak to Remi and Eden and I thought they were harsh but I think their actions are very understandable.  It must be very frustrating spending years together at Lyric, not being able to publish any songs and having to effectively start from scratch with a reduced band.

Sorry misunderstanding there about Leah visiting Roo, I didn't hear her say that.

Confused.com again did I or didn't I hear Irene say she'd just seen the twins but hadn't she already been there, done that and got the t-shirt??  This last time she just dashed off without saying where she was going.

Anyways Harper did look, understandably, shocked to see Irene back so soon so had to dash home to warn Dana and hide all her gear and tidy up.  Did notice, the back door was shut and locked - very unheard of - seeing as last week the back door was always open,  blinds closed.  Why to go Irene, she certainly told  Madden where to go.   The why he just barged in like that and Irene was an innocent home owner, well was then.  He obviously didn't hear Dana in the bedroom but she did so nothing wrong with her hearing.  I'm guessing that little diversion upset her plan to see Roo.  Madden had already thrown his weight around by barging into the Parata's the way he did, threatening Cash that he knows (or thinks he does) what is going on.  Cash was lucky there, he'd only just hung up talking to his mate about the anti corruption commission and what they can do about Madden.  Mind you they may already know about him and have got him under surveillance.  Madden, it seems, has a mate, another cop, who is in co-hoots with him.

She was like  a new driver getting her licence for the first time.  Oh Flick you did get the wrong end of the stick there didn't you. ?  Fleeing the bay and Tane thinking he was talking about them having children.  Remi's parents place can't have been that far though,  as it didn't take her long to get there or get back.  She was as much in awe of it as I was.  At least she did come back and after some urging by Eden faced her fear and talked to Tane.  Not quite the bombshell she was expecting but still a bombshell, Tane wanting  them to move to NZ.  First thing I thought of was what about the gym, his business, Flick's half share of SALT, not to mention her leaving Cash. Yes they have had their ups and downs, fights, fallings out but they have always been there for each other so will be a big wrench.

Talking of Cash brief but sweet  reunion with Eden.  Perhaps it's been  good  she hasn't been around, it meant he could concentrate on the Madden problem.

Finally Eden, Remi and Kirby talked face to face about the copyright stuff with her saying, what we already knew, that she knew nothing about the copyright pull on Lyrik's songs. Of course she couldn't tell them on the spot what the resolution could be without looking into the legal implications.  Haven't  a clue how this works but  wouldn't any of her songs which she wrote solo be hers.  Any others where she collaborated with Remi, Eden and even Theo wouldn't be entirely hers, they would be Lyrik's  so that side of it would need to be looked into and maybe see if the copyright could be unpulled? I bet if she asked Forrest he'd tell her not to worry her pretty little head about it and he'd he'd look after it.   Seemed Kirby's  apparent indifference changed Eden's mind about finishing the song.

She was delighted over the board but Forrest didn't seem that impressed, in fact sounded a bit sneery about it. He still doesn't like her having friends does he? I have the feeling he could get very oppressive and controlling.

Who’s Taylor? and it’s Lyrik not Lyric.
