Yes, Martha and Ric would be the obvious candidates but they're largely forgotten these days.I'm trying to work out how old Bryce would be now, about 13, I guess?Bit of a stretch but Ryder could have got someone pregnant in the year or so since we last saw him.

Alf's episode count this week:None! I guess Roo really did need him. Sparse week with only Leah, Marilyn, Justin and Eden managing three episodes.

Another strong episode for Felicity and Tane, with them taking it in turns to be supportive, and nice to hear Gemma mentioned even if it did involve her ending up in hospital! But Felicity decides to keep her latest dilemma secret from Tane so he can focus on the rest of his family, leaning on Eden instead.

Theo's attempt to come up with a Plan B didn't achieve much except annoying Mackenzie and driving a wedge between him and Eden as well. It wasn't the best plan, but he's right that he needs a Plan B, rather than sitting around waiting for things to turn out fine like Eden's doing. Nice to see Leah in a supportive role.

I thought in the previous episode that Marilyn was spending all her time at the Diner because otherwise she's rattling around in that big house on her own, but she didn't seem to be enjoying herself there today! She was at her most annoying with her attitude to John (I'm surprised he wanted to stick around and help after the way she spoke to him), which seemed to expand into being unpleasant to all the customers, and then for some reason John decides to blame Leah for it all. I did like John and Eden's scene, where they seemed to hit just the right note of annoying each other.

Seeing some of the SD moves was good, might gives viewers impetus to go and try themselves. Is it wrong that I did laugh at the Felicity/Eden moment, poor Eden got over-hyped! Flick's manic cheerleader act wasn't a good idea, methinks (I was honestly waiting for her to grab pom poms!)!

Eden's scenes with Remi were poignant, I know that feeling of watching your life's dream disintegrate and though you know moving on is right, it's not the easiest thing to do and the pain of might've been doesn't go completely. However, seeing Justin and Remi was a great contrast...it ain't over 'til it's over, though I'd say take it easy.

Not such a good week of episodes with characters I don’t really care for quite boring really

Shame they can’t rest the characters of Tane and Felcity abit longer With that self defence class I think it would have worked better if Tane actually taught a combo think you would get abit bored of doing just the one move teach uppercuts and hooks and stuff make it kinda of fun to get people to talking and wanting to come back I thought the classes were optional but Felcity dragged Eden too it Also why not use the word rape it kinda sounds silly calling it assaulted

It was good that Felicity kept her news from Tane so he could concentrate on his family problems, I got confused.com as one of the TV mags said it was Tane's mum that had been in an accident.   Rather soon for Jeremy to request a Restorative Justice Programme meeting, has he even been convicted yet?  Big decision for Flick have to make, it can help  victims of violence to talk to the person who did it and maybe find out why they did it and why them.

Mac was a bit hard on Theo, he's  trying to carry on somehow, could he do some busking like Remi did/does?  Eden was rather up herself I thought, it came across to me as if doing waitressing was beneath her, Kirby didn't have any problem with it.  Leah was good to Theo  but we did see how his dad's words still affect him.   I guess it's a good sign that Remi & Justin had another meeting with the lawyer.

Could there be something else behind Marilyn's reluctance  not be at home?  She was certainly frazzled but John was very patient and understanding.  I could see why he blamed Leah, I know Maz told Leah to go home but she could have checked Maz had back up.

I hope we see more of the SD classes, even if it's not with Tane, did he arrange for someone to stand in for him?  They were optional but Felicity thought it would be good for Eden.

I enjoyed Justin call out Eden for how she had been ignoring Kirby when Eden came round to his place to confront him because she wasn't happy he told them not to talk to Kirby, due to the ongoing issues re Kirby going solo.  I did actually like the interaction with Eden and Remi when they mentioned that they should have signed a contract.  However, I do think the blame lies mainly with Justin.  You can argue about the stuff with Andrew all you like but he wasn't managing the band although even if he was I'm not sure it would have made much difference and it seemed like him missing that was purely due to lack of experience.  Hopefully the lawyer Remi's parents referred them to will be able to come up with a viable solution, as I do think Lyric are entitled to something.

I normally find John quite obnoxious but I did find it slightly amusing how he was trying to get info out of Eden re Lyric and she was trying to ignore him playing pool.

Mac was kind of funny in Thursday's episode, from biting Justin's head off re the gig with Lyric, to gloating about the deal she made with Kirby's agent the day after and how she was in the self-defence classes.

Harper's sister is really getting on my nerves.  Part of me wants her to get caught if only to not see her constantly argue with Harper, who is trying her best to help her and who is actually committing a crime.

Well, Cash and Harper finally met each other's sisters after all those years of being friends, albeit accidentally in the case of Dana! I must admit to being rather suspicious of Jeremy's motives for wanting to meet with Felicity, it could well just be a cynical attempt at getting a lighter sentence. I would hope that this screening process would pick up on  anything like that, but you can never be sure.Anyway, good for Eden for backing off and supporting her.

I'm not quite sure why Cash thought he had Madden onside when he was dripping insincerity. Anyway, there was a huge wake-up call there with Madden suddenly making it clear he wasn't interested in Cash's input.Jonny Paslovsky as our dodgy detective, last seen on HA as Roo's one-time married boyfriend, although I still mainly associate him with playing Kate Ritchie's dodgy boyfriend in Cops LAC.

Can't really get behind Theo's emo behaviour with regards Lyrik's trials. To be fair, Justin did warn them about recording the album without a contract in place, but it was far too late in the day and they preferred to just press ahead with enthusiasm.

Also Harper and Eden met.  I think when Cash knew Harper back in the day Felicity wasn't into meeting Cash's colleagues.

I found that meeting  between Harper, another professional not really allowed to have time 'off' and Flick very interesting.  It does appear both parties have to go through several vigorous interviews by these facilitators, not just thrown into it, to assess on the survivors part if they are really ready and on the perpetrators  part to see if they are doing for the right reason and not hoping to get some time knocked off their sentence. Harper, as  a pro, can give good advice as she isn't emotionally involved.  Flick can take it up or not.  It may have helped people who may be considering it decide to start proceedings, it's certainly very involved.  I know it's a soap but TPTB must have consulted the proper people to make sure they weren't misleading anyone with the info they were giving out.  These facilitators would have come across many guys (and gals) like Jeremy so hopefully know a con if they heard it, but yes even they can be fooled.

Very opposing views from Cash & Eden about whether Felicity should go for it or not, arguing about it as if Flick wasn't actually sat there, but it is Flick's decision and as you said Red  Eden did back off.   If  Tane had been there would he back her or say - not tell her -  she shouldn't do it?  I do hope she fills him in when he comes back.

Madden got my back up right away, definitely something suss with him, belittling small town cops as city cops tend to as they know it all.  Though after he did some digging of his own, finding out Cash knew Harper when he was in the city, he did reveal something Cash didn't  know -  Dana had previous which he took great pleasure in telling him.  Did Harper know that or was that something Dana kept from her?  Dana was very keen on what Olly had told Cash, like did he ask after her, is she  as Madden suggested more involved than it appears or is she being coerced/controlled by Olly?  Funny how this CCTV recording has got 'lost'.?

Going off on a very long limb here but maybe Dana was in it with the cops - namely Madden - to set Olly up and get  a lighter sentence herself but he clocked what she was doing and planted the gear on her instead?

Dana was maybe taking a risk going for a walk around the bay but hey not a soul was in sight!

Bad news for Theo and Eden when she hears about there isn't anything to be done re the songs Kirby had a part in even the one Theo co-wrote with her.  Wasn't Justin out of action at the time of the recording, due to him recovering from his leg injury so wasn't able to put his full support into it.  It was rather  a rushed thing too as there was a time limit to fit them in at the studio.  Theo does seem to have shut down his career rather quickly falling at the first fence  like that.  Justin had quite a good thought getting together with Eden and Remi to wrote/compose some new music but Theo wasn't interested.   I still have this niggle though that Kirby doesn't know anything about this copyright ban on Lyrik performing the songs she had a part in writing/composing.

Yes, I nearly said that Eden finally met Harper, which was good to see.

Justin did turn up as Lyrik were just about to record the album and tried to have his say but got told to leave it to them.I'm really hoping he has a better plan here than "Look after Theo and not care about the others", because if there isn't a plan lurking below this plan, then I think Remi and Eden would have every right to feel betrayed. At least Remi's got his rent sorted? I groaned when he and Bree decided to go out for dinner, because they were never going to end up at the Diner, were they? I don't know if Remi's going to storm over and confront them next episode or stew on it.

Much of the Cash/Harper/Dana stuff felt like padding, consisting of Cash preparing to take Dana to the station and then changing his mind. (Mind you, he's got form: I seem to remember him arresting Leah once and then turning around and covering for her.) So, he's decided to try and keep her out of the hands of his less trustworthy colleagues while proving her innocence, which is risky but then so's the alternative I guess. I'm not quite sure what Madden's angle is. Perhaps the simplest option is he's after a quick result to make himself look good: Instead of trying to find the real culprit, he picks on someone where he can get a conviction with some circumstantial evidence, history and a few put-up witnesses. Incidentally...was that meant to be the outside of Irene's house when Cash took Dana to the car? It must be 20 years since we last saw it!
