Flick's brattish behaviour is so annoying, the whole 'it's only me, not you' whine, if she bankrupts them with her silliness then it is both their problems (I'm a day behind btw). Credit though to Jacqui Purvis who is doing a stellar job as is Ethan, poor Tane looks as if he's at the end of his tether with it all, physically and emotionally.

I don't think Felicity's 100% selfish, but she's got herself in this tightly focused head space where the only thing that matters is getting the money for the next payment.I thought for a moment she was going to ask Remi's parents for a loan, but turns out it's her own family.Cash obviously has his reservations but could see Felicity was desperate so decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. There did seem to be a twinge of guilt there when he transferred the money.

Kirby has been acting very defensive at times lately, but Justin being less than diplomatic about her publicity arrangements seemed to push her over some sort of ledge.Leah didn't exactly come in from the right angle either.

So, an end to John and Irene's house share arrangement.I was going to say that John divorces Marilyn and still gets lectured by her but fair's fair, she was reasonably reasonable about it all.

Felicity and Tane story continues to get sillier it’s hard for me to really care when the way out is so obvious

I didn’t like Marilyn nagging John I don’t see a reason why John and Irene can’t be housemates really if they enjoy each other company

I don't think Felicity is being selfish either, she is so scared of him outing her she'd do anything to keep it quiet.  Cash was the obvious one and yes she lied why she needed the money, but that soon came crashing down when he spoke to Eden.  He does know Flick so knows something is wrong but knows not to push it.  We, of course, know he will want more.

Theo is in a difficult situation, he's getting fed up with Kirby arranging all these interviews and leaving him to do them alone, but doesn't want to tackle her about them as they've only just go back on an even keel.   Justin trying to be the voice of reason didn't come off but  I don't think he meant to be offensive in any way, it was just the way he phrased it. He did appreciate all the work she had put in.  Leah usually manages to pour oil on troubled waters but seemed to have upset her even more.  Did she imply Kirby should have  more to her life than the band and an ex?

John finally bit the bullet and told Irene he was going back home, but was very appreciative of her helping him.  John is more of a loner than Irene and I think he'd like to get back to doing his own thing in his place without feeling he's got to 'behave'.  I hoped he enjoyed his roast pork.   John & Maz may well be divorced but she knows John & Irene too well and gets they couldn't be under the same roof for too long without a major fall out and spoiling their friendship.

I thought today’s episode was a odd one went from Kirby having trouble with the band to getting over fear of surfing very random and bit pointless unless they are pathing way for her drowning as a exit story or shark attack while Remi leaves by crashing on the motorbike

Alf's episode count this week:Two.

Kirby really hasn't thought this one through. She says she only wants a professional relationship with Justin and Theo but she won't even discuss band business with Justin so what's she planning to do, turn up for gigs and not talk to anyone? Leah did seem to be making headway for a bit until Kirby took what she was saying the wrong way.Kirby suddenly being a retired surfer came a bit out of nowhere. Justin continues to be great entertainment value, I loved his interaction with Mackenzie.

Alf really did misjudge the situation with Irene and ended up nipping out quick sharpish on realising just how much of a knife edge she was on. Fair play to Marilyn who, after a certain amount of interference these past few days, did ultimately have a chat with Irene about how she's feeling.

I know the feeling re: Alf, I have one person I Adore living with the other....really not!

I'm guessing Sig other for the former, Flatmate/Sibling/Relative for the latter?

My thoughts exactly about Kirby, is she not going to be attending any band meetings as in Justin's suggestion for the venue for Lyrik's launch, wouldn't they all need to agree it's the right one?  Shooting herself in the foot there, methinks.   We saw in the promo Remi reminding both Theo and Kirby of what could happen if they had a bad break up which he warned them about when they got together.

Justin, now's he's back in the groove, did well with picking Mac's brain on where he could hold the launch, hoping she could use her old contacts for suggestions.   He did apologise for using SALT and of course he'd have to honour the current contract.

That was an out of the blue moment, Kirby admitting she  been  a surfer before she had a really bad experience which had scared her off.  I think Theo was more upset than angry when he saw her surfing and then found out.  He did open up to her about what he'd been through with his dad so may have thought she could have revealed her trauma.   He would have understood and been there for her.

Loved Alf's suddenly having to dash off to the bait shop. ?  Sad Irene telling Marilyn she could get lonely and always going home to an empty house.   Was it Cash who was the last person living at the Beach House? ?
