Alf's episode count this week:Three.

Well, goodbye, Andrew. It's been pretty inevitable since he was only listed as a guest character, but at least he gets a positive exit and, even though we haven't got to know her that well, Tegan's appealing enough for us not to mind too much about Andrew going off with her. Justin took too long to get the hint for me to really appreciate his moment of sacrifice, but their farewell managed to be a genuine tearjerker with them reflecting on how they changed each other's lives.

I guess I should feel sorry for Bree but she really does seem to make a drama out of everything. And even after apparently accepting Remi's version of events, she's ringing up Mercedes, saying "We need to talk" and...immediately hanging up? Was it meant to be voicemail or is Mercedes on the other end of the abruptly dropped call going "What happened to talking?"

Mackenzie and Rose made a good double act discussing Mali's retracted L bomb. But that's a pretty dramatic end to a romantic gesture!

Last year just about has it beat with some hair-tearing, teeth-sucking storylines

Friday's now:

Good luck and Godspeed Andrew, wish you were staying and not a certain band and certain Doctor.

I stand by my statement that the Farmhouse is cursed!

So Bree gets up in the middle of the night to drive to the recording studio just walks in that’s not even locked the recording studio is it in the city? Hears Remi and Mercedes talking about the kiss Bree then drives back to summer bay and goes back to bed who is she Santa?

Andrew I liked the story up to the point he was taken back to the cult then we just seemed to have Cash drive back and fro gave the cult drity looks awhile Justin ran around abit I’m glad that’s the end of it now

What is there some sort of mystery to Marley is he married?

Damn, I've lost Thursday's post.

I did get a bit ? over Andrew's departure.  Justin finally acknowledging he was being a bit clingy, Leah knew what Theo had told her about Andrew's admission was likely to be true. Andrew does owe Justin and Leah a lot but it would be wrong for him to stay with them because he felt obliged  to.

Theo has grown so much since he arrived in the bay and natured into a very good and kind man, some on here wanted rid of him remember, but he connected so well with Andrew due probably as he is nearer his age and has shown the right amount of sympathy and understanding.

Now Andrew has gone I suppose Leah & Justin won't need the surveillance cameras, shame it's too late to be have been used at the farmhouse. ? Rose would have locked up and we did see her open the door when she and Mali came back, as (a) she is a cop and (b) it's not her house so she definitely would have.   Is there another entrance/exit to the place?

The message was "Stay away from my wife" so I'm guessing it referred to Mali and what he may or not have been up to and who is Marley? ?  Unless we've got ourselves another Jacob type who got upset about Mali's surfing lessons with said wife, but then he hasn't been doing them for a few weeks.  Did like Mali's initial reaction "You shouldn't have" .  Rose, being a cop, of course will get her colleagues  the usual checks, sign of forced entry, fingerprints, any other clues.  Such a waste too of all that food laid out.

Not just Home Farm that is cursed then. ?

It made perfect sense to me about Bree going to the city which I mentioned in my lost post, Bree was getting some funny vibes from Eden and Kirby, Remi was a little off and it bothered her enough to go and see them at the studio, Mercedes and Remi were there so it wasn't empty.  She heard Remi & Mercedes and not the  usual half conversation, but enough to know she needed to talk to him about it.  I thought she played it very cleverly, thinking it overnight, the so casual dropping what she had done into the conversation over coffee, you could have heard the thud of Remi's jaw dropping on the table all over the bay.  However I do  not see Remi as another Jacob and I'm glad she did finally listen to him.  Bree said what she wanted to say to Merc, ball is in her court now.  I'm supposing she wants to hear Merc's side of it. I think Mercedes has underestimated her.  Btw will Eden admit she knew about the kiss?

It's not a good look that, immediately after Remi promises never to lie to Bree, she immediately lies to him and goes behind his back! In fact, I found Bree so annoying that I was kind of cheering Mercedes' refusal to follow her narrative apologise, although inevitably the show let Bree "win" in the end. I guess I should give her credit for swallowing her pride and asking Mercedes to stay for Remi and the others' sake.

So, in the end we don't even see the vandal or learn his name, but I guess it was good it didn't get dragged out.Rose was suspicious of Mali for longer than was necessary, and so was Xander for that matter, but it's nice that there was no melodrama, with Mali accepting why they were suspicious and them both ultimately deciding to trust him.Rose should probably have told Mackenzie her home had been vandalised before quizzing Xander about it while she was in earshot!

Yes it's handy that there was CCTV, accessible via the police computers, at the end of Ferry Road... it being out in the middle of nowhere and all that 🤔

I know I'm in the minority about Bree and yes it was a turn about her 'lying' to Remi, but I was totally on her side by fronting  up to Mercedes, it needed to be settled one way or the other.  Actually she was quite understanding about how Mercedes felt about Remi as they knew each other so long and why she thought he felt the same.  Has Mercedes only just realised she had these feelings for Remi, as from what has been said they hadn't seen each other for ages?  Bree made it very plain Remi wasn't going anywhere romantically with her Mercedes that is.  At least it was kept just down to a war of of words and didn't descend into a catfight.  I thought Bree was very strong facing her which she admitted to Remi later that she had found her voice and that was down to him.

Strangely though it was down to Eden and they aren't the  best of buddies by any stretch of the imagination who got her to understand why Remi had changed  and that it was due to Bree and what they had been through.  Very wisely didn't mention the hand smashing part.  Eden and Kirby saw his change slowly but for Merc it would have seemed so dramatic since the last time she saw him.

I was thinking Bree's last talk to Mercedes was to play on the way Mercedes feels about Remi and hoping it will override her feeling of betrayal as she sees it not to let him and the others down.

Neat little turn of words from Eden "Bree hasn't gone to work but she's going to work on Mercedes". ?

Oh no we can't have things 'dragged out'. ? Rose did exactly the right thing, stopping Mali touching anything and calling Yabbie Creek.  Had there been forced entry, it was never said.   I guess Mali  does  have a  flirty manner but that is probably to get ladies interested, though I shouldn't say that in this woke age.  But that is all it is  a good looking guy being flirty as long as the other person recognises that.   I don't know if Rose had half her police hat  on suspecting Mali, after all it is where he lives, unless whoever it was thought Mac was after his wife? ?

But then Xander had a ? moment, about the same time I did,  and realised it was that little lads mum who had wanted more than surfing lessons for her boy nudge, nudge, ??.  I can just hear little Billy/Johnny  saying to daddy "Mummy is very interested in taking surfing lessons from my instructor".  Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings eh.  Of course daddy would have no idea that Xander was a stand in for the actual owner so got  the wrong man completely.  At least he has owned up and hopefully pay some compensation.  How handy Xander had the mum's details on his phone.   Yes that was a bit of a boob by Rose not letting Mac know before Xander her house had been trashed.

Not looking good for Flick & Tane, but as I said before no way would this creep have just wanted $1,000, he's certainly upped the price for his silence.

Cash is showing Felcity a picture of a suspect but I thought she was drugged at the time so she’s not really going to remember what he looks like I don’t think The way to catch him I think is for Flick to stop paying the blackmail money of course the amount will keep going up if she’s paying it tell Cash about the addresses his giving for the money drops Tane is being incredibly dumb as well just going along with it

will we get to hear Lyrics album? Is it foreshadowing that Remi will crash one day on Mercedes motorbike?
