Alf's episode count this week:Four. Otherwise, another sparse week with only Irene, Marilyn and Remi managing three.

The rumour mill goes overdrive where John and Irene are concerned, with it taking some blunt honesty from Mali for them to work out just why everyone's looking at them strangely.I don't think there's anything romantic there but I think it's telling that they've carried on living together when it seemed like both of them were just counting the days when he first moved in:They're obviously enjoying the set-up.

Xander is the one to come up with a solution for Mali's problem, with a nice use of the fact that he's not keen on accepting money but will accept a helping hand.Mali managed to leave Rose lost for words as well!

Stunning Organics, it seems, has ended with a bit of a whimper.Rather easy in the end, given one of the problems was just how difficult it was to get out of a contract with them, but I guess sometimes people know when to fold.

The only thing I have found interesting really is the comedy with John and Irene shame they don’t think about becoming a real couple they would be a a pair I would actually believe in

I think they clash too much as Irene is too no-nonsense like Alf is.

I don’t think the writing for Alf and John is very good I don’t know if we are meant to find them funny as a double act because Alf just comes across over the top of just plain horrible to John Or maybe Alf doesn’t like him but I think we are meant to find them funny

I think Alf likes him in his own way but more love/hate relationship.

Like I said about Morag and Colleen is that  even though lot of times they drove each other up wall but deep down they could see each other’s good points and eventually come to some even level of tolerance towards each other.

I think Ethan Browne has brought a great performance to the SA S/L as H&Alover pointed out men are expected to 'get on with it' as it's only 'a woman's trauma' so they are invalidated but I think husbands/partners struggle both in the fact that they couldn't protect their loved one (that goes whether you're male or female, mind) but also trying to mind-read a very treacherous situation emotionally, it does drain you, that was noticeably in the 'aftermath' scene...you could almost feel that mental, physical and emotional exhaustion and Tane actually looked as if he could collapse. In an odd way I enjoyed the boxing scene on his own, more in the way you would enjoy a ballet etc. Ethan is an incredibly passionate and accomplished MMA enthusiast and to watch someone hone their craft is always fascinating be they dancer, athlete or anything else.

I'm glad Tane has had Cash on his side though and that he finally did admit he's struggling.

Loved Alf with SO; I thought the stark use of the before/after pics of Roo really underpins the consequence of all the actions and the CEO is utterly typical of not just crooked companies but companies in general on occasion.

Remi you really are as thick as two short ones...even a blind man could see Mercedes' intentions right from the start, subtlety wasn't her strong point! Lying to Bree is definitely not the way to go.

I understand Justin's reticence re: Andrew/Tegan as I don't think she truly gets the gravitas of Andrew's complex emotional needs yet, a couple of days in a familiar enviroment isn't always the best indicator; she needs to think with her head not her heart but that is very difficult to do.

Neither John or Irene caught on as to why people were smiling at them in such an odd way.  The getting John to buy a new suit, even with  a discount,  is an other 'couple's thing.  John didn't even twig when Mac made the comment about Irene being John's plus one at Jett's Wedding.  Does that mean John & Marilyn are going together but separately, they are still his parents.  Only Mali being a relative newcomer could come out and tell them why.  John wanted to close it, whatever it is, down but Irene I think wants to tease people a bit longer.   Irene and John are great as close friends but not anything romantic, she knows him too well and it could be awkward with Marilyn.

I still think Mali is being ultra stubborn about not accepting financial help from his family.  I can see his reasoning, he is the 'baby' of the family and made such a big deal of striking  out on his own but what happened was exceptional circumstances and beyond his control.  If it was a brother or sister in the same position and he could afford to help moneywise he would.   I liked how everyone was so there for him, even if Xander's offer to teach surfing was a bit out there, he's still a learner himself and even if his First Aid qualifications are up to date,  Mali would need t get him insured.  They did come up with the solution though, teach them the basics which hopefully will keep them interested until Mali can get back on board - sorry couldn't resist.

Trouble is foellfan, 'we' could spot it, but Remi is/was a thick as two short planks, probably cos he knows her so long he really didn't twig she felt that way.  Even Eden didn't realise and she is no friend of Mercedes and has always had a downer on her.

Alf a reluctant hero of the bay.  It was all the product ambassadors coming forward that brought it  crashing down.   Bookended in a way as it was Roo's violent reaction to SO's face mask that started it all and it ended with her being caught up in the intended or not bomb blast.

We don't know when we will see it but it looks like Flick gets an anonymous text from her 'maybe' attacker who 'says' he has film of them which he is 'happy' to sell her for $1000.   My first thought show it to the cops, they maybe can trace the number unless it's a burner phone.  He must have got Felicity's number when she was unconscious.

The show really does love putting Felicity through emotional distress, don't they? No sooner has she got herself back on an even keel emotionally, and even managed to step up and help Tane with his business problems, than another trauma gets thrown her way.Of course, it could be an own goal on the part of her attacker, since it's given the police a potential lead when they had nothing before, but it's still a pretty horrifying thing for Felicity to discover that a snuff video of her exists.

I continue to love Xander and Rose's relationship, with him confused and a bit weirded out at her ranting.I don't blame him for telling Mali what was going on, but it's a shame that, just as Irene's talked Rose down from the edge, Mali sends her right back into overthinking mode by telling her to forget about it.

There were some amusing moments in seeing Marilyn stuck in childish frustration at her suspicions of John and Irene, resorting to "I have a date, you don't know him, he goes to another school." Still, John's got a point that it's stopped being fun, with Irene getting increasingly frustrated at how stubborn Marilyn can be. And they've taken it so far that even Alf, who was trying to be the voice of reason, has started wondering if Marilyn has a point.

I don’t know if it really makes sense for a rapist to try and blackmail doesn’t that approve the odds of you getting caught surely if you’re victim doesn’t pay out you kind of have to follow through with your threat of posting attack online Anyway I’m sure Felcity will be fine I have thought that from the start she kind of has the same reaction to everything that’s why I find it hard to care It was abit of a change go see Tane struggling with what has happened to her but they ended up sleeping together again at end of last week anyway so impact was lost on me again

I really enjoyed John and Irene pretending to be together again
