I know we were meant to be going "Ohmigod Cash is so out of control!", but personally I was cheering when he gave Alf a taste of his own medicine and shut down his self-important rant.Fair play to Alf, once he'd calmed down he did actually take in what Cash had said and accept there was nothing he could do.To be honest, unless Cash wasn't being careful with his language, there not being a DNA match is suspicious in itself: I know they might not have a name but is this really the only unsolved crime attached to that person?

Bree seemed to go into full-on possessive jealous girlfriend mode here.I can see why she'd think Mercedes is trying to exclude her (and, indeed, the rest of the people in Remi's life) but what did she think that "Back off!" threat was going to achieve? Say what you like about Mercedes, and I'm sure people do, she gets results.

John moving in with Irene as her latest (and oldest) "stray" was good value, with him flipping between being a rather nervous guest and making demands.Could be a long two days... To be fair, given he was worried about being lonely, it's no surprise he doesn't want to be left in the house on his own.

I would have really laughed if the recording studio guy had been impressed with being brought cupcakes I know I would have

Im not sure smashing the laptop would help Cash find Felcitys rapist I did roll my eyes I thought Felcity was going to find him on the videos and not the cops

Best part of the episodes for though have been John and Irene

I was glad Eden managed to drag Cash out to SALT (did he tidy up after himself?) and I did notice the other cops were studiously avoiding him, and I thought he was quiet restrained actually knowing what we know he'd just done when Alf accosted him. He was right there are other cases the police have to look at.  Alf naturally doesn't know about Flick and what she has been through and they did both apologise to each other. The CEO has been caught and pleaded guilty and whatever SO are still up to it isn't a  police matter.  OK forensics may have the guys DNA but if he hasn't been charged with anything, maybe not even an actual crime, it could be D&D, car accident maybe due to being under the influence,  his DNA won't be on the database, that's the way it works.  See that many a time in true detective programmes, the cops have got DNA for a crime but he or a she isn't on the database. It can take months even years for the  person to be charged with something, then their DNA will pop up on it.

Thing is as Cash said to Eden should he update Felicity? It won't be helpful as they are in limbo.

I think Bree has been very patient so far with Mercedes, but it's the looks and sly comments she makes.  What does Merc have against Bree, is it because she is so unlike anyone Remi has been with before so is worried that unlike his previous ladies Bree is a long term love? Merc's ? when Bree asked who this Reuben guy was. I did love Bree's spoilt little rich girl comment. ?  Also the comment that even though she and Remi have been friends for ages he's never made a move on her which ought to tell her something - meow!  As per the rest of the band vanish into the ether when Remi was trying to get the meeting set up so they will have to lump it if/when Merc and Remi go to see him.

Quite a pleasant meet up with Alf and John, Alf wishing him well.

Of course John shouldn't be on his own, he's just come out of hospital and  Bree said he shouldn't be on his own and natch it would be Irene offering  him a roof over his head until he was better. Did like the 'stray' remark - the 'oldest' bit as well. ?  He soon found his feet though, wanting  a duvet as blankets weren't warm enough, then in the morning nicking Irene's toast and complaining  it was too buttery. ?  It will be a long two days. We needed a bit of light heartedness and John & Irene were just the right ones to supply it.

Alf's episode count this week:Five! Making up for lost time, although it's a sparse week for most of the others, with only Irene and Marilyn managing three episodes.

Remi was surprisingly quick to throw away the meeting in order to get things back on track with Bree, although he did assume someone else would pick up the slack. And Kirby was surprisingly fine with Remi and Mercedes organising this meeting and not telling the rest of them. So, they get their recording sessions, but even though things are peaceful on the surface, Bree and Mercedes are still rubbing each other up the wrong way.

We're obviously meant to be on Justin and Leah's side with regards Andrew and obviously it isn't healthy, either physically or mentally, for him to spend all his time shut up in the house glued to the camera feed, including during the night. However, I have to ask: What's the point of the cameras if no-one's watching them? Are they a deterrent? Is the idea to look through recordings once in a while, or check them if they hear a noise outside?

Irene seemed to decide pretty quickly that you can have too much of a good thing, being quite happy to let Alf compliment her by insulting John. So it was a nice swerve for her to come home expecting more earache only to find John acting like the perfect guest/housemate.

Good girl, Bree, Remi might be as thick as two short ones but...women know women's tricks! The scene with them reminded me of a 90's comedy film with John Travolta and Kirstie Alley, JT's female boss is clearly trying to seduce him and KA points it out, he thinks she doesn't trust but she counters 'I don't trust her.', there is a clear distinction.

Earlier in the week I mentioned about Andrew being like an abused dog in his way and that moment with Alf, it was almost like the 'sniff' moment, yes Andrew's obsessiveness over the cameras is a concern but I think it would take a long time, if ever, to break that fear wall; lots of patience would be needed.

Heh, there’s not much love out there for the third movie, but I for one can appreciate the reference ?

Kirby walked into a cat fight, and wisely backed out again.  Once Remi went after Bree she soon picked up the slack and decided to go with Merc to meet this all important Rueben, but what was all this skipping off hand in hand thing?   Anyways it will take the sting out of Eden and possibly Theo's gripe about not being informed. Maybe, and I'm no expert but the fact it was two ladies that swayed Rueben by proving they could be just as savvy as a man or woman and man as originally arranged?   It was Remi's choice not to go, though it could be argued Bree could have tod him to go.   Merc can't help herself with those little digs at Bree, but Bree is so far holding her tongue and not biting.  ? for the session.

I'm totally with Foellfan about the trusting him but not her!

A good argument about the camera's being fitted and Andrew's obsession with them but if they weren't there it's likely he'd be even more on edge as he'd be jumping at the slightest sound so it's six of one and half a dozen of the other and they do have Buddy should someone try to come round the back.  I'm supposing there would be be some sort of alarm someone set foot on the property, heat sensitive cameras at night?  Of course Andrew hadn't met Alf so only natural he'd be freaked out when this unknown guy walks up to the door and expects it to be open - which we know  is the usual thing  in the bay.

John as we know can be a real drongo at times - I'll have a cup of coffee - not too hot -  but he can show his appreciation as he did by cooking Irene that lovely looking joint of lamb, hope there were roasties veg and mint sauce with it. I hope he didn't use all the pots and pans and cutlery to make it. ?   He wasn't knocking Maz but he did say it was good to cook for someone who wasn't a veggie and Irene said it was nice to have a meal cooked for her for a change.

As Justin notes, given that the last person who turned up claiming to be Andrew's family was a psychopath, it's no wonder they're cautious this time. However, people will no doubt be relieved to know that Missing Persons learned from Cash's mistakes and did a DNA test, and more importantly, Tegan remembers Ted (although no word on what happened to the poor bear!). So I guess we're meant to take this as true, and Tegan does seem likable.Okay so...now, Andrew's mum was in the cult too and had him there, but later left and brought him with her prior to him being snatched back again? It would really help if they told us everything up front instead of drip-feeding stuff!

Bree's obviously finding her "I trust you but not her" rationale a bit hard going.Mercedes continues to make no real attempt to hide the fact she doesn't want Bree around.Remi continues to find himself stuck in the middle.Bree's decision to stop behaving like a jealous girlfriend may help her case if nothing else.

Alf and Marilyn continue to be down on Stunning Organics: It's kind of been obscured by the whole "trying to blow people up" thing, but their original objection was to the shoddy products and exploitative business practices, and there's no sign those will change.

I was cheering when Rose gave Kirby a serve.  She deserved that given how she blamed Rose for not catching the bomber previously.  And it's sad that Marilyn had to be the voice of Reason explaining to Kirby why Rose wasn't happy.

Last week re-enforced for me why I often don't like Alf.  He initially clearly blamed Marilyn for Roo being in a coma when he saw her at the Diner but didn't even raise his voice to her but he often goes off at John for what he perceives as way less.  I was glad Cash told him to back off when Alf was questioning him and was disappointed Cash apologised to Alf later on.  It's disappointing the bomber was caught off screen but at least they pleaded guilty.  I do share Alf's cynicism regarding the appointment of the new CEO.

Not surprising re Xander and Kate.  Given how quickly she was prepared to jump into bed I did question how good her marriage with Jamie actually was.  I do however think Xander was out of line telling her he didn't want to see her any more after they slept together.

So Mercedes has started to try and sabotage Bree and Remi's relationship.  If she's going for a full on break-up, it's going to take a lot given what Bree and Remi went through to have a chance.  And I can't see Remi being the one to end things given that he was hospitalised by Jacob for Bree.  I can however see Bree ending things given how insecure and jealousy she's coming across as, so I think speaking to Xander and backing off is a good call.  Remi might appreciate her even more.
