I'm not going to complain about Mercedes annoying Eden but I do think it was reasonable of Eden to question Mercedes motives about sticking around despite the fact battle of the bands is over.  I was surprised Remi accepted having Mercedes stay on to work on their album without too much resistance.  Once again he's acted unilaterally and emphasised Justin's the manager only in name now.

We don't know the fors and againsts her having sex, medically once the OK has been reached fine but mentally is a completely different thing. That could have been what Felicity was referring to then when she mentioned blood tests to Tane.  I'm guessing Flick and Tane practiced safe sex, him using a condom or she is on the pill? If the former he would be safe from catching anything she may have been infected with.  Big assumption - don't like that word - that he wore a condom.  It took Bree took a while to be comfortable to resume having  sex with Remi but she and Felicity are such different people.  Flick we know was so up for it, but Bree was more reserved.  I thought, though I could be misremembering, she had to actually say rape for it to be officially marked in the record. I know Jacob was dead so wouldn't/couldn't be charged but that it, I guess, is police procedure for you. 

Tane really took a chance there confronting Felicity the way he did, but he felt he should lay it on the line about the way he was thinking about them and their future and if the marriage could survive.  I think it helped her having that talk with Eden, though she must be getting pretty pissed off with people asking if she is OK/fine.  She like many others who are asked the same thing - they would be if people stopped asking.. I think it is a default in us humans  - we ask this question 'are you OK, are you alright' when it's obvious they aren't.  Anyways Flick after storming off did think about it and admitted she needed help and is going for counselling, lovely that hug.  Be a relief for Cash too. But now he's got other things to occupy him - see below.

Good to see Justin home, one very good reason Leah isn't at the Diner.  I'm sure she would have asked Irene to pass on her love to Alf, Martha and Roo, but please, please Leah back off, yes he has to rest his leg but he has to get up sometimes - go to the loo, come back, go to bed,  unless you are gong to carry him there and back!  He will flip if you keep banging on about resting it or are you forgetting the last time when he had his back trouble.  Btw what are they - the hospital - doing about pain relief - he wouldn't or anyone would - want him to be addicted again. 

His CS has been suspended, of course it would being an outdoor gig, but still has to do his Anger Management.  I can see why it would be awkward getting there and back and I guess there is something in the rules saying they can't visit you so hence him doing it online. 

We, like Justin and Leah were kept dangling with the news about Andrew and the DPP. It's going to be very traumatic for him, the cult has been a big part of his life and he grew up with it.  Looked tense with his prowling about and holding the knife, protecting himself?   Although, to them, a seemingly obvious solution that they 'adopt' Andrew, they will need to OK with TPTB and Andrew.  Then of course there is a long lost half sister in the background.

I suddenly got the feeling Mercedes although she can be full on and annoys Eden, is actually lonely.  Eden, Kirby, Remi and Theo have each other even though not always agreeing and not always seen together a lot they are a team, but she isn't a part of them, she's it seems is always off somewhere as part of a bigger band/orchestra so not the same. so maybe that is why she wants to stick with Lyrik.  Remi did enjoy his bike ride. Reminded me of Liam.

Cash may not be officially part of Felicity's rape/assault storyline as he can't be involved for obvious reasons, but it didn't stop him taking  an interest in seeing the footage fans had been taking that night.  But it would be a very long shot - no pun intended - that someone caught the guy spiking Flick's drink. There were hundreds there and mostly 'watching' the bands and the crowd, not swooping down on the tables. It would take a lot of someone's time to go through all the social media posts let alone those who hadn't posted their films.

Agree re: safe sex for Yane to be protected he would, in the words of Patrick Dempsey, 'be dressed for the occasion'; RR1, you're right about meds but, I know where HIV was mentioned elsewhere, certainly retrovirals can take up to 3 months to minimise load to safe levels so 'non-dressed' sex would be advised against.

 

Can totally understand Andrew's reaction, it was always bound to hit him at some point post freedom, also possibly because of his mental conditioning, it has stunted him age-wise in a sense it seems so it likes he's a kid in a teen body, even more overwhelming. There would need to be an awful lot of care there in all ways, to perhaps mitigate the long-term damage, not sure if you ever can completely heal from something like that. He kind of reminds me of those dogs you see abandoned in empty houses on the rescue programmes, he's terrified but wants to trust.

To clarify, Felicity's comment about blood tests referred to her drink being spiked (which I thought was confirmed already but ho-hum). Re medication: My point was that if there was any risk of Felicity being infected, she would/could have been given medication straightaway when she went to hospital the same day as the rape, which would/should have stopped her being infected in the first place.

To go back to my original point re the bomb and timer, even if they didn't want to risk getting rid of it, they'd have had more than enough time to have got everyone out of the Diner and away from the blast area.

Anyway, Andrew made it back but looks like he might not be staying.It does seem like, until recently, he was kept away from the main cult and was being hidden by his father in that house, so he probably doesn't know them that well. I'd have thought there'd be more than two of them could have been charged, but you certainly couldn't lock up the entire cult just for being there.So after all Justin's insistence that he had to be the one to tell Andrew about his mother, he didn't bother and just left it to the authorities! Leah is probably not going to be happy with Justin hobbling off for a conflab with Andrew...

I'm glad Eden and Mercedes cleared the air after Eden's slide back into not accepting her.I guess Mercedes has been missing Remi if they were quite close once.

Pretty scary experience for John but he came through it all right.And good that Irene's back to being a loyal friend to him to the point of holding bedside vigils.Living alone isn't for everyone, I know!

EDIT: I meant to comment yesterday on the fact that Kirby's staying with Marilyn? (Actually, it sounded like she's staying there without Marilyn, but I'm not sure where Marilyn would be in that case!)

Wow Kirby what are you, 3? What an epic tantrum that was, just because she's friends with a cop doesn't give her a right to special treatment and also Rose is only human, she can't magically change everything. Though Kirby verged on brattish, obviously reading from the Flick playbook. Even if she did know anything, sometimes there are protocols to abide in law and that can't be modifying for friendship.

Poor John, having see that kind of thing IRL, the trauma was very well written and acted there; also poor Andrew, the security cameras aren't the worst idea and it strikes me that by them using his knowledge as well, it helps give him some control but also in a sense validates his role in the family dynamics instead of feeling like a problem that everyone has to deal with, they can be small things but often make a huge difference.

Alf’s episode count this week:None again, despite him apparently being on his way back to town until he went to the city instead. Roo was in two, but spent Tuesday’s episode comatose.

With Justin kind of handicapped by not being able to follow him, it’s left to Theo to talk Andrew round with some rather blunt logic. It wasn’t the smartest idea in retrospect for Justin to try and get Rose to give assurances when there’s no way of knowing. His ultimate solution could work, I guess.

Rose getting it from all sides, in fact. Marilyn and Kirby certainly shouldn’t be blaming themselves for the actions of “the CEO”, but neither should they be hauling Rose over the coals for not filling them in on every bit of gossip. So, in the circumstances, despite not behaving that professionally in ignoring Kirby’s calls, I’m glad Rose hit back at her.

Well, it was always a possibility that Kate’s talk with Timothy’s mother wouldn’t go well. And it seemed inevitable that the lines would get blurred between her and Xander at some point. I thought the kiss might be one-sided but nope, they both went for that.

I'm supposing before his dad took him away, he had been in the cult for some time so would know their methods better than Justin, Leah or the authorities.  The only ones that are in jail are Margot and the one who shot Justin, the others and just my opinion, were only followers so wouldn't go and do things off their own bat. They wouldn't dare doing things without Margot's instructions. I think they would be a bit lost without their leader. I think the DPP were the right people to tell him about his mum, sad that he wasn't able to feel more upset about it. He was only four so wouldn't have many memories and his dad was likely to have told him not to talk about her.  I'm guessing he hasn't been told he's got an older half sister, be a bit too much for him.  Andrew may be a bit of a man child but he did have some good ideas for setting up security at the Morgan house, he would have seen the set up at the compound.  Justin would get the whole looking over your shoulder thing, he'd been there. I guess Justin got a cab into the bay. Theo did well talking Andrew out of not running away, he has certainly matured since he's been in the bay. Get over yourself Leah, what was Justin supposed to do leave Theo to it? 

Why has Kirby suddenly starting to throw her toys out of the pram? Theo last week now Rose.  OK I get it must be frustrating not knowing what progress has been made about finding this mysterious CEO, especially as you were directly involved,  but and with no disrespect to Rose, she is only a constable, it would be dealt with those higher up the chain and they wouldn't be telling her what is happening.  Those working at SO would have only told the police what they had been told. Mind you, if Rose thought she was having  a hard time getting flak from Kirby wait until Alf comes back. He'll be causing a riot at Yabbie Creek nick, hope they have got their hard hats ready. 

Kirby did mention she was staying at Maz's aka the Stewart's.

I did feel a little sorry for Kirby when Marilyn was sharing the blame onto her, at the end of the day it was Marilyn who got Kirby involved.

This CEO character reminds me of a really cheesy James Bond Dr Evil type sitting around in a swivel chair stroking a white cat  If the company let him go weeks before the bomb why would he be that bothered about Marilyn bad mouthing their products unless he plans to blow up the world with beauty products 

Poor Jamie looks like Xander is going to get it on with your wife nice best friend
