The Andrew storyline is curiously interesting, I got autism vibes too by his non-filtered comments to Leah and difficulty communicating and meltdown type moments.

Loving seeing more of Tane being a bit free and fun loving without the millstone!

Lyrik came back prematurely. Blather  Blather Blather.

I'd happily launch Lyrik into space and send them to a planet where there is no music. Am I alone in hating them?

I am reluctant to say 'hate', and yet... Ugh, I don't know what it is. It's not that they're even objectionable characters, individually speaking - if they were, I might be more engaged.

But it does feel completely like a show of two halves at the moment, and on days like today when the 'other' half is rostered on, I just sit there and wonder what I'm doing. I can't bring myself to care about Tane's random cousin's fishing ambitions, or about Kirby poking about in the periphery of Marilyn's plot while she's offscreen, or about Eden navel-gazing over her dreary song about selective amnesia. I'm trying my hardest to care about Bree, honestly, but... it isn't working. What's the problem? Is it them, or is it me?

By the way Andrew was shaking  that bottle I would have expected more to come out but good control on his part, not many could just have squirted such a little blob so precisely, that I think is why Leah & Justin looked agog. Has to take  many hours/ months/years of practice.  What would have happened if more had come out?

And the logic behind Leah and Justin's flummoxed response to Andrew's ketchup technique continues to prove more intriguing than the totality of today's episode. I want answers to this question and more. Roll on Monday (or maybe Tuesday?) so we can find out.

Whilst I do think there's not much to analyse, I did enjoy Lyrik's scenes. Even though, in plot terms, you could take them all out and not miss anything, I liked Cash and Eden's scenes together and continue to think he works better with her than he did Jasmine. Remi and Bree are a bit weaker.Bree basically said some stuff that might have been new to Remi but wasn't really for us, and just adds to the feeling that there's not much of substance to their relationship. Theo telling Kirby they should stay in their own episodes rather than intersect with Leah and Justin's storyline felt a bit like doing the right thing for the wrong reasons: Springing someone else on Andrew probably wouldn't do him much good.

Felicity continues to come across well, I think. She's voiced her opinion to Tane but seems willing to back off and let him make the choice, reasoning that it's his family, I guess. I'm beginning to suspect Kahu's working a pyramid system of his own: He seems to have convinced his mother that he owns a fishing trawler that she's invested in, but is using the money from Tane to pay her back, after which he'll presumably move on to another family member. I'm intrigued though that he doesn't seem to be attempting any hard sell on Tane, just putting the idea to him and accepting if he says no.

Going against it seems a very strong tide but I like Lyrik and why do some find it so hard to spell it correctly even of you don't like them.  Was Felicity with them all of the time, it would have been a blast from the past for her.

Great reunion between Eden and Cash he and Eden do have more chemistry than he did Jas but they have history and begore we get groans about them acting like love sick teenagers what has their age got to with how they carry on when they reunite, it's in their own home and so they weren't  scaring the horses.  John seemed a bit lost there and he was vague about what was happening with Marilyn when Kirby asked him what was happening with Stunning Organics.  Theo has come back to a bit of a shock of not being usurped exactly but seems the impression given was it might be best for him to stay elsewhere for the time being as Andrew is staying at his.  Maz, though, it seems, is also dodging Kirby's calls.

Remi was very confused with Bree's reaction to his coming back so I'm glad she did finally explain it to him though it probably doesn't make  much sense to her either.   When Jacob was away she felt free but knew at some point he was coming back which was when she got twitchy. Normally I guess she had some warning - a week or two - so could gear herself up and pretend everything was fine.  We don't know of course but I imagine she would have had to lose any friendships she had made female and especially male as she'd know he would want her all to himself.  Last time was a shock as he was early and surprised her sitting at SALT with Remi. That 'training' would have been built up over many years so wouldn't be easy to let go of.  She knows on most levels Remi is the complete  opposite of Jacob but the other part is still there.  That is what happens when someone has a partner like Jacob or it could be a woman doing to to her man.

Who's this millstone of Tane's?

Felicity came back just in time for Tane to put Kahu's hare brained scheme to her, which gladly he had decided not to invest in but did agree to let him have the $1500 - is that a gift or loan btw- which she wasn't too happy about.  That was Tane's hard earned money which Kahu  lied to get.  I've said before neither her or Cash had any extended family so haven't had this problem of family members wanting loans or gifts of money which they, the lenders, feel they should give/loan them.  She likely thinks he's taking advantage of Tane's good nature.

It doesn't seem to occur to Justin and Leah that it's possible Andrew maybe autistic which could explain his difficulty in communicating. But I wonder whether H&A is that progressive.

...well, it looks like Kahu has found the bay bike ? Does Mack have no self respect. I find Kahu a bit slippery, he appears to have no track record of work so being a self employed trawlerman seems a bit far fetched. I enjoyed Flicks reaction, she has a point, she and Tane are married so decisions should be discussed between them now.

Now I know it doesn’t take much to get the women into bed in this show but poooooahr talk about fishing boats come on aMac really and I thought Kahu was going to be interesting

Thanks a lot Bree because of you Lyric are sticking around to write a album abit of advice and I’m not too end recording artist here but Lyric will need more than two songs for a album Hopefully Eden doesn’t cry about every song she might write
