Unlikely as by all accounts in the industry C5's HeadVillain CEO Ben Frow wants H&A cut too. ?

The Irish won't stand for that. They're the biggest H&A Stans by all accounts.

Oh I forgot it was the gratuitious workout scene between Tane and Kahu today wasn't it... that was a particularly cringeworthy 70 seconds of episode that I'm sure was purely there to progress the story... ??

What is it with the surfers of the bay and pushing against medical advice? Every single time....!

To be fair I did think Cash was a bit hard on Robbie "being late" when he arrived literally 11 seconds after Justin...

I'm not sure Channel 5 have much of a say in the content of Home and Away, 7Network still foot enough of the bill to call the shots. As for what they're doing for the money from Neighbours...keeping Jo Joyner in work, by the looks of things.

Well, Kahu seems like a decent young man, all the awkwardness between him and Felicity has dissipated, he even pays for his meals at Salt, which is a rarity...so obviously he's got a Big Secret.Tane's expression at the end suggested he's not entirely sold on this.

At least Bree made some attempt to explain her thought processes to Cash, as well as being on hand to check over a moody Xander.I did like Rose's little attempt at tough love, but Xander and a plan continue to be strangers. Her comments about stalking Mali on social media were quite funny too.

Justin was a bit too sold on his "They're criminals and I don't want to make friends with them" attitude: He could have been a bit more friendly to Robbie, although it turns out Robbie's a ne'er-do-well anyway so...that's okay?

I think Sid and Ari would have been good mates. Both miserable gets at times!

Yes, although Sid's way of handling his daughter accidentally killing someone was a bit less stupid!

True. BTW, Read Silver Age. Not as great as Silver Couple but Shane, Shannon et al are as they would be and it's still AN enjoyable read, would again.

That work out between Tane & Kahu was a bit out there but we did see a pair of very toned bods so not all bad.  Kahu did come across as very keen to get into the business and willing to do his qualification training and offering to help Tane with the accounts.  Didn't he say he'd maxed himself out by buying the lunch?   But then we heard his phone call about him just coming off the boat and had got a good haul, which of course we know he was lying his head off about,  definitely more to him than meets the eye. Thing is how much leeway will Tane give him seeing as he is family? I supposing there would be some slack but....   Do they have a Parata Court like they have a  Dingle Court in Emmerdale?

Everyone does things against medical advice, but I don't think Bree or any other medics had specifically told  Xander not to surf did they?  Though Dean did obey the rules after his accident and took his time getting back in the surf.  Anyways although I can understand Rose being so worried about Xander wandering off the leash and stressing his wound, but her being so in his face would just make him more determined to rebel.  Bree did check him over and she is the medic not Rose.  OK Xander doesn't have a plan, is there any urgency about him having to have one, couldn't he just be allowed to chill out?

Ok Justin isn't a hardened criminal but that remark was so snobby, he did do wrong and has he already forgotten he could be inside?  Also Theo has done Community Service hasn't he, so would he be included in that sweeping statement?

Natch there would be a bad 'un ?. Another soap rule that has to be obeyed.  Maybe Robbie should have turned up before Justin? Guessing 'they' allow time for them getting to where ever they have been sent?  But 11 seconds! I guess watching over the CS's while they do their stint/shift can't be top on any cops turn of duty.  They would, surely, want to be out there catching real criminals and nicking motorists who were just over the speed limit.?  Robbie was a bit cute picking up on the fact Justin and Cash know each other and trying to use it against them.

Thanks. Sequels can be a bit tricky, especially if the protagonists' character arc was already concluded in the first story and you're basically left going "And then something else happened to them." It let me pay off a couple of things but I was left struggling with what to do with certain characters.

Alf's episode count this week:Three. Irene was in four, although she wasn't credited on Tuesday and was only in one scene near the end, so I'm guessing that was moved from the next episode.(It does, after all, continue on past the obvious cliffhanger of Marilyn learning she can't get out of the contract to...Remi announcing he wants to make an album.)

Today! Well, it was perhaps inevitable that Mackenzie would hear Gabe had died at one point. It's a shame, because I was just that moment thinking how nice it was to see Mackenzie and Felicity getting on again and then we get this new source of conflict.Mali handled it well, being there but giving her space.I'm not sure that walking away from her when she was crying was the best move, but she seemed all right afterwards so that's a result, I guess.

It's kind of ironic that Felicity is encouraging Tane to give Kahu the chance to prove he's changed because they both have, when he does seem to be up to something.I did like them behaving like a unit though.Curiously, Kahu acted as though he didn't really want Tane to lend him the money and was expecting him to turn him down.

I'm not sure Justin really needed to blackmail Robbie, since I think any complaint he'd made would have been quickly dismissed.Leah isn't in the episode so Justin is left downloading to Cash.Of course, he soon turns out to have a bigger problem...

I don't know why Xander was being so paranoid: Irene doesn't usually need anyone encouragement to be nosy! And, yep, turns out hoping that pain near your injury site will just go away on your own isn't a viable course of action...
