Justin is normally the comedy character but we do get angry I don’t see that as such a problem Ava was kind of nutty If anyone has a anger issue I would say that was Alf

Did I feel sorry for Roo no did I think Marilyn was silly to keep selling her beauty stuff yes but Roo has kind of gotten her karma for being horrible to Marilyn through the Heather stuff

I do wonder though does Jett even know Marilyn is trying to get the money together I’m expecting like a royal wedding type style here

Trust me, after living the bay 70 odd years (even if you deduct Vietnam), that'd shorten patience. ?

I know John's tended to get more than his fair share of being the butt of jokes over the years, and sometimes he does need deflating, and he and Alf have always had a bickering relationship...but it seems like, over the last couple of years or so, Alf and Marilyn's attitude towards him has taken on a rather nasty edge that smacks of bullying.Even here, when they're ostensibly on the same page, Alf can't resist belittling him. And lately, even Irene has started treating him like an irritant when she was about the last person left who still seemed to feel any affection for him.

Anyway, I can kind of see why Alf would want to err on the side of caution and recall the products just in case they're dangerous.Marilyn made some fair points about not writing off the entire range because one person had a reaction to one product, but with her selfish attitude and attempt to argue Roo actually had an allergic reaction to a horse, it was hard to feel any sympathy for her.Roo was perhaps being a bit over the top suggesting she shut her business down, but Marilyn describing her as "privileged" was a real pot-kettle-black moment: Roo tends to work hard while Marilyn has spent most of her adult life relying on people treating her like she's the child she acts like and providing for her.

I didn't think Leah and Justin's chats were as dramatic as the spoilers claimed, Leah just told him they'd have a problem if he couldn't control his temper.Mali's relaunch seemed to be a success and thus not very interesting.I guess I can't blame him for not wanting to help John for free, although I'm not sure if he's qualified to charge a design fee either!

But John has been a bully himself at times and he wouldn’t even say hello to Romeo. Romeo once said hello to him and he rudely ignored him and he was rather harsh on many youngsters just because they came from Mangrove River or were once a bad boy like Hunter and Ari. The way he treated Ari and the rest of his family was just terrible and let’s not forget the way he treated Trey back in his early days .

I think Alf doesn’t forget how John once was and likes to remind him .

Justin was expecting a lot from his two counselling sessions.  Of course the nine(?) years he and the others spent on the run would have an effect and it won't be solved in an instant.  Amanda wasn't expecting him to 'forget' about it all, just how to deal with his anger when he felt he - or his family - were threatened be it real or imaginary.  So it was good Leah didn't just let him off that easy, he did snap at her just by talking about them  - and it did read more in the spoilers than it actually was -  but she did get her point across so he needs to carry on with them.

Marilyn does apologise to John when they have had a row or she's felt he was in the wrong and he wasn't.  Alf on the other hand just ignores it.   John when we first 'knew' him  was not very nice to a lot of  people. He was also a bully to his stepson Trey, I don't think it started out like that .Trey had had a problem with his weight John put him on  a diet and fitness regime but once he'd lost the weight John was far too oppressive with his keeping the weight down.  John liked being the big man about town but soon came unstuck and became he John we know now.

I can see both sides in the Roo and Marilyn argument.  True Maz maybe should have tried all the beauty products on herself first but that wouldn't prove they were safe for everyone.  Kirby tried the face lotion(?) and had no ill effects and I think if anyone else had, however minor, they would have returned them by now. I do think it was the right call to stop the selling of the sun screen until it's known if it's safe. Roo was just very unlucky and does Roo know what ingredient that was in it caused her very bad reaction?  Roo, understandably, did have a right go at Marilyn for not stopping the selling of the products, buts as Marilyn said no-one else has any bad effects.  It was a very silly comment of Maz's to blame a shampoo/soap/horse on Roo's reaction.  She need to sell 'her' produce to make the money she feels she needs to fund Jett's wedding. It did start getting very personal when they were trading insults.  Roo bringing up the fact Jett may not want a fancy wedding it was Marilyn and John's idea.  I think Marilyn did bite her lip about that at least she  has  a son  whose wedding she can pay for. The 'privileged' snipe was nasty but Marilyn has worked all her life and had many jobs since she's been in the bay, whereas as has been commented on here before, Roo does seem to drift in and out of work.  As seen, so not a spoiler, Maz has got herself locked into a a pyramid scam which she can't get out of for a year, unless she buys herself out of it.   Same thing happened with Sean in Corrie a few years ago.

Wow Mali did a cracking job on his make over, I did like how he kept Dean's Gone Surfing driftwood,  but it did make the Juice Bar look a bit dated, rather like  when you do up one room in your home and it makes the rest of it look shabby.   I guess Mali could charge John mates rates.

And that's different from Alf how? He's spent the last 35 years coming down hard on numerous young people, from Frank and Simon through to Maddy, Theo, Cash and even Mali a few months ago. He tried to run Luke out of town simply for having long hair and busking. He clashed with Nikau all the time when he worked for him (not that I blame him because Nikau was a pain in the neck). He was frequently harsh with Ryder, including making his last day in town a lot more miserable than it needed to be.He didn't treat Duncan much differently to how John treated Trey and the result was much the same. This isn't some long thought-out-revenge because John was rude to Romeo (who was a judgemental dick towards him anyway) in 2009 or a defence of Hunter of all people. It's just how Alf is.

Anyway, today! And Marilyn and Roo do eventually both calm down and look at things sensibly and do the research Marilyn should have done in the first place. So turns out Roo isn't an isolated incident, although we're yet to learn the common factor.Still, the company don't seem particularly bothered about anyone having a reaction. My sympathy for Marilyn was rather limited given she really should have paid attention to what she was signing instead of focusing on the dollar signs.

Meanwhile, Remi gets a bit intense trying to get Lyrik to focus, although Eden manages to bring him a bit down to earth. The arrangement of "All of You" was different but they did talk about giving it more of a rock feel, and Eden was the one who adapted it so presumably she's fine with it.It sounded decent anyway!

Mali's gift to John was a nice touch, I guess he felt sorry for him being the constant target of Alf's grumpiness anyway! (I think that Gone Surfing sign's been there since Ben's time by the way.)
