Well, what do you know, just as I predicted Justin gets community service ?  I don't have a lot of sympathy for him. I feel sorry for Leah and Theo and what he's put them through.

I wonder why Kahu has rocked up? I hope there's more to him than the drongo surfer that he's being portrayed as currently. The storylines seem to be a bit lame lately, lots of lovey couples which isn't very appetising at tea time. Nevermind, you don't have to wait long for a kidnapping or psycho to appear in Summer Bay.

Loved the mention from Leah about her fears for Justin with Vinnie having been sent to prison, such a nice character and continuity touch. Oh, wait… there wasn’t one!

I’m really conflicted about Mali, on one hand Kyle Shilling doesn’t seem to be the greatest actor, but on the other he makes Mali really likeable and is the kind of character that would fit into the bay back in any era.

Kahu seems nice enough (for now), I’m half expecting him to end up in Nikau’s old job though.

Felicity walking the tight-rope of likability again. She was, as Cash noted, being rather needy, but she's self-aware enough to realise it and it only took a few words from Cash to convince her to be more supportive of Tane having Kahu around. Also good that there was no bending of rules and Tane stuck Kahu on admin after learning he wasn't qualified.

Remi nominating himself as the new Justin, or maybe even the new Bob, and the rest of the band's reaction to it was rather amusing.I can kind of see why Eden would consider her song too personal, but her going into a sulk because Cash didn't feel the same way didn't exactly show her in a good light.

The only person I have sympathy for is Connor but that's kind of limited as he must have know how *dodgy* it looked picking up a teen runaway.

The show has always a revolving door of scumbags.

Remi the new Kno... I mean, Bob? Nah, Bad as Remi is, He could never be big a tool as him. I think if we took a poll, Bob would top the chart as worst member of the original line up.

Maz...?‍♂️

That  last scene really proved her and Palmer are definitely better off apart. I'd also be annoyed two if I were in Irene's shoes if she spent the day lollygagging on some other venture, I'd have to say "Come back when you get your head in the game, girlie!'

It's like watching a mate get smashed at a party and cross over from normal Hijinks into Carwreck behaviour, bit premature but it's coming!

There's only one person in Marilyn's world and that's Marilyn! I don't think I ever saw any physical contact between her and John the whole time they were married.

The stuff with Heather has ruined Marilyn really she might be getting the money for Jetts wedding but she has forgotten about Heather now I don’t know how much money she’s trying to get for Jett but he will probably be married before she gets the money together haha

Yep, I bit my tongue over Marilyn last week but...yeah, she's awful, as her childish and selfish sides come out big time.At least she actually got called out on it, with Irene taking her to task for handing out free coffees from someone else's business and trying to get her do some work, but she's so self-absorbed it felt like it was in one ear and out the other. The same with Kirby challenging her over lying to her.I was glad John actually stuck up for himself for once, he's tended to occupy the post of Marilyn's verbal punchbag ever since they split up.

I spent much of the episode assuming we were meant to be on Eden's side, so I was pleasantly surprised when she actually listened to Cash and Kirby and decided she was overreacting. Not that I was completely unsympathetic towards her, but it felt like people made good points to her.

It feels like Mackenzie invites Mali to move in with her every week but maybe this one will stick.I did like her brief chat with John, which contrasted with the lack of respect he tends to get from others.(She also calls him Jonathan...is that really his name?)Has Mali told his mother he's moved yet? If all his things aren't there, she's soon going to notice.
