As someone who is not keen on Kirby or Leah, I actually hope Ava sticks around.  I like Ava but even if I didn't, it's worth it, if only to make things awkward for the two of them.  Part of me was wondering if Leah and Roo spotted similarities in her behaviour to that of Heather which was why they seemed so concerned.  I do think she's a little misguided.  I guess one major issue is that she doesn't seem to have many friends so maybe that's where the fixation on Theo came from.  I'm also not sure it's good for someone that age to be so isolated.  Justin is in complete denial but I don't blame him.  I think he's in a very difficult position as he doesn't want to ruin his chances at a relationship with Ava.  I do have quite a bit of sympathy for Theo because he's also between a rock and a hard place and shouldn't have to move out of his home.

I also believe if there is to be any reconciliation between Felicity and Tane, she should have to work for it given how she's acted towards him.

Was finding Cash and Eden all over each other annoying.

I love Roo when Ava is being bratty and thinking she is superior...that silly girl has no idea she's dealing with the original Summer Bay Superbrat/tearaway! ?

Hmm. Consider me on team Theo on this one. Ava needs to understand that stalky behaviour has consequences - pretending nothing has happened won't wash - and while I certainly don't think she's done anything unforgivable, it seems fairly obvious that living with Theo is not the healthiest thing for either of them right now. As such Justin was behaving like a bit of a man-child by trying to play it down and pretend it was nothing, and I don't think he was doing Ava any favours in so doing. I'm agnostic on Roo's stickybeaking and being clued into the stalking by Leah - it arguably is best to keep the knowledge of what happened within the family, but on the other hand, Roo's probably the most likely candidate to make a breakthrough with Ava (I make that prediction purely on the basis that she hasn't had a storyline in a while).

Sorry to say that I totally tuned out of the Flick/Tane and Remi/Bree scenes - I'm all moped out for this week.

I can understand people thinking Felicity needs to pay a penance before getting back with Tane, and I don't really disagree since she has been pretty unpleasant to him lately, so from that point of view it's good that they didn't immediately fall back into each other's arms here, even though I think it's what they both want.I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if all the important conversations happen off-screen and they reappear next week with everything sorted, but at least we know they're going to have those talks. The brief glimpse of Gary in uniform was interesting too.

I'm glad Leah's "No, you're not moving out" was just her being melodramatic and she didn't actually try and stop Theo.I think Justin's got a point that Theo staying with Kirby isn't the end of the world, although he shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable in his home either.Whilst I'm not quite sure what reaction Roo expected for telling tales out of school, I'm rather confused here: Wasn't Justin discussing Ava's behaviour with Leah in the Diner last week, with all the usual suspects in earshot? Why is it suddenly a state secret?

Well, we get a big "What's wrong with Bree?" cliffhanger...and then they tell us in the promo. Why do they even bother?!

Back after lengthy catchup.

Ava! Argh! *makes Homer-choking-Bart motions*

Alf v Technology.??

*Palmer impression* "If he had his way, we'd still be using stone tablets and a Sundial!"

Any new couple are always all over each other, we've seen it so many times, not just joined at the hip but lips!  Kirby certainly got a surprise at not only was it Eden hogging the bathroom but Cash too!?  Guess they weren't having  a cold shower. ?

Felicity  had been in a very bad place when she and Cash first came to live with Gary and his wife and it was only recently she  reconciled with him. Btw good to know she got there, wherever it was,  safely, I'm guessing it must be quite a distance as Gary said  Tane could stay over. It  was good to see him again, he's a great surrogate father, he wasn't pushing, just giving good advice and let her work it out for herself, with a bit of nudging.   It was very moving seeing her at her (and Cash's) mum and dad's graves.  She did finally face her demons. Gary did tell Cash to stay where he was and not to come rushing to pick Felicity up and Eden gave him the same advice - to let Flick stand on her own two feet and let her work it out.  Flick did hurt Tane very badly, but he did come to realise there was more to her actions than first appeared.  Besides he still loves her and is prepared to give them another chance.

As already been said Justin is burying his head in the sand but he's a more or less absent dad, trying to make up for the time he's missed with Ava and not wanting to alienate her, plus not many parents would want to think of their son/daughter being some sort of obsessive fan/stalker.  Having the subject of said child's obsession, despite their denial they still feel like that,  living in the same house would be doubly awkward.  I felt it was a real knee jerk reaction of Leah's saying NO to Theo's suggestion he move out to Kirby's.  Yes it is 'his' house, but he wants to make things easier for all of them and he is an adult. Kirby is, imo,  wisely staying  out of any encounter between Ava and Theo, which only causes more trouble, but is there for him.

Ava is playing a clever game, pretending to go along with the rules Justin has laid down, but the moment he leaves the house, becomes  all stroppy and defiant, rude to Roo.  But as Foellfan said Roo was the original so not easily fobbed off.  I think Roo had to say something and not let Justin think everything in the garden was rosy. You could be right there Red, isn't that when Roo offered to help Ava in her studies because she overheard them in the Diner?  Happens in most soaps though, people have 'private' talks in cafes and in pubs where anyone can eavesdrop.

As always seems to happen we never see all of Lyrik together when they aren't actually playing.  Eden was noticeable in her absence at the meeting at SALT, wasn't having another shower with Cash was she??  Remi admitted he had pushed it too far but is now willing to take it easier on playing when they do their next gig.  He did lose it though when the others were all arguing over trivial things and stormed off.  That could be more due to his frustration over Bree's cool behaviour and not knowing what or who had caused it.  Well we do now!

Have to comment - again - that Bree let herself in the Diner flat and the balcony doors were wide open!??

More bad advice from Ziggy in stopping Dean telling Mackenzie what was going on: It felt like Mackenzie was on a fairly even keel and would have taken the news as well as she could, and more importantly it would have been done. Instead, Mackenzie ends up in a much worse head space when Dean goes back to have another go, resulting in him cancelling/postponing the move.(I was actually expecting Xander and Rose to let it slip when Mali sent them on ahead to Salt but apparently not.)I'm glad Irene made the point that Dean was gifted the board shop by Ben so it's only fair that he does the same to Mali. When Mali came back from an offscreen visit to his family, I was fully expecting him to say that he'd sorted everything with his mother but seems that's still to come!

I guess now we know why the show made a point of showing Bree sleeping with Remi right before going off with Jacob! I have tried my best to have sympathy with her, but I pretty much gave up in that last scene. She's worried that Remi won't want anything to do with her if she tells him what's going on...so she tells him she doesn't want anything to do with him! What the heck? I'm not convinced Remi would have taken the news well, but he deserved a chance and she took that away from him. If she was trying not to hurt him epic fail. She hasn't even considered that if she goes ahead with this pregnancy, Remi will notice sooner or later and wonder who the father is, and if she doesn't go ahead with the pregnancy...what's the point? All she's done is make sure it's all on her terms, which isn't the most sympathetic of motivations.

Where did Xander and Rose go after collecting food from the Diner? They didn't turn up at the flat until much later.

Ziggy suddenly deciding to go shooting off to Queensland the next day, where are they going to live and on what!  Also she still hasn't told Justin - her boss - in case she'd forgotten that she is leaving him in the lurch.  Another thing who will be Theo's sponsor? Justin was banned from being that.

We did find out Ben & Maggie are fine about Mac taking over the lease of the Farm House so they do still own it then or was the lease  passed onto them?

Yes Mac is upset about Gabe, but she's a big girl and can handle it.  I think Mali told Xander and Rose the board shop news was under wraps for now.  Very nice gesture for Dean giving the board shop to Mali but as before what will he and Ziggy be living on? Ben took a big chance on him when he did that but it paid off.  Mali stepped up by saying he'll be there for Mac so he and Ziggy oh and Izzy- can go. Btw how old is Izzy supposed to be, she's very advanced for a 12 week old baby???

Hope they'll get a good send off. Alf won't be there to say goodbye and he may have had his doubts about Dean when he first rocked up but he's proved he's more than proved himself.  I'll miss him, even back when he first arrived I had the feeling he had more to him than just a RB. He's had his hiccups but really come good. Oh - bad thought - it'll mean we won't be seeing Karen again.?

Another new couple with PDA disease and needing a bucket of water throwing over them meaning of course Mali and Rose. ?

Couple or lones do tend to lave somewhere and take forever to get where they are supposed to be even it's next door. Maybe they take the pretty way.

Do we still think Gabe is playing Mac for a fool?  He was very definite he wanted to go to the hospital to give his blood tests alone, then kept her waiting and not answering his phone.  Money for expensive treatments hasn't been mentioned but he's got his own money so can't be that.?  It may be a silly thing but I have noticed when he and Mac hug when she is comforting him we haven't seen his expression like we usually  do so we know if someone is hiding something.

Ah yes Bree.  I was hoping she'd take Rose's advice and tell Remi but I'm more sympathetic towards her.  My thinking is she still has Jacob brain as in he is  in a way is still controlling her.  Plus she'd know if he was still about and she was pregnant he'd want to know if it was his even if she hadn't slept with anyone else. Another problem and more in her mind, again, is if he/she is Jacob's they could turn out just like him. Totally illogical I know,  but he/she would be half hers. Not at all fair on Remi, he's not Jacob, but abused women like Bree do transfer their fear/distrust onto the next guy.   Remi may not have be over the moon to know she'd slept - or rather was made to - with Jacob when he snatched her so she's not sure who's it is.  I think that is why she broke it off with Remi to spare both of them. The only way she could be sure Remi wouldn't find out down the line is having an abortion or leave the  bay.  At least she has Rose to talk to and she may be able to get her to change her mind.  She did say to Rose she and Remi had been careful but  the pill can still fail even today.

It’s up there with people closing the side door at Summer Bay House as they leave, but leaving the back door open.

I assume John’s still off visiting Jet, but his absence at Dean & Ziggy’s farewell was notable.
