Very wise call there Justin by not waking Ziggy.  How come  no-one even thought of the garage as a place she would go?  Mind you as soon as Justin drove up outside I said to myself "That's where she is".  I think the garage is outside of town and I suppose Ziggy could have walked/strolled/ambled there, she does have legs.

Oh yes Leah and Justin - ?.  It will be something to remember her by while she's gone.

Most of the mums she could have talked to, though why she couldn't call Maggie to ask advice is one for TPTB, aren't around or older.  Good advice from Irene and if Ziggy was a dreadful mum she wouldn't be bothered about being one would she? Amazing how just one night's interrupted sleep helped so much.  She was feeding babe with a bottle too so maybe she's alternating?  It's official, or will be once she's on a birth certificate/registered - Isabella Astoni-Thompson,  a lot of writing there for the Registrar.  ?  Though to  family and friends she'll be Izzy - so welcome Izzy.

The hunt for Ziggy did get Rose and Mali together and they kind of arranged another date, got on a lot better I thought  than before.  He talked a lot about his family and the difficult choice he has to make about taking over Dean's Board Shop/the surf lessons - I'm guessing he's got the appropriate insurance now -  and moving to the Bay.    What about his own business which involves supplying the very  boards Dean sells or he would sell?  The fact his mum doesn't speak to his eldest brother when he moved away said a lot.

I suppose as Rose  and Xander only recently found out about Jasmine is why she counted Xander as her only sibling?

? when John told the Internet provider "Yes, we've done the turning it off and on  move".   Alf proving what a technophobe/dinosaur he is by not even wanting to consider upgrading the system.  Roo could see the sense of it.  Where's Ryder when they need him?

A few awkward moments between Cash and Eden, fair enough he helped her with the shopping, but back off lad.  Her flashback of when she remembered when she and he were last under that cover.  Then later when he got hold of her arm she recalled that kiss, but that is how memory loss comes back so wasn't making sense. John was lovely taking her home, I was expecting him to say something about how it was when Marilyn forgot she was married to him and hard it was for him.   Of course as it always it seems to happen  the others aren't about, Kirby is with Theo and Remi's gone to see his folks.

Well, not for the first time, Remi was a colossal jerk towards Bree.I don't know if we were actually meant to notice the irony of him assuming she must be sleeping with any man she spends time with, while being incredibly tactile with Eden? I was honestly expecting Bree to turn up at the house, find Remi and Eden in bed, and misread the situation.Instead, we're left with Remi deciding she's cheating on him just because she had a meal with Xander.Even though he rejected the idea, Bree's got a point about Remi having a similar possessive and jealous streak to Jacob, and if we're meant to see him as her happy ending after all that, then the show needs to give him a bigger plus over Jacob than "Well, at least he's never hit her." A shame, because that bit of jerkassery managed to obscure some decent character work with the two male/female friendships on show, especially Xander being Bree's support person when she's in the difficult position of having people she knows mourning Jacob.

The showdown between Alf and John at the committee meeting ends up taking place off screen, although we get to see their later arguments, with Irene as a very reluctant referee.

Felicity was doing a very good job of keeping up an act of being fine, while sneaking off to neck booze in the store room.Nikau had the right idea but she wasn't in the mood for an intervention.I'm assuming that, since she unlocked the caravan with a key, she's actually booked in?

Uh no it’s because TPTB have pretended that Jasmine never existed even when Cash and Felicity talk about her it’s always “Cash’s ex” they are clearly still annoyed that Sam left the show.

Thank you :) I 100% agree ^

There did seem to be a slight touch of "You had your chance" about the way Cash was looking at them...

Yeah I caught that too. I would say he almost looked jealous especially a “what could have been moment” anyway. I am so glad they didn’t go their though and I hope they don’t anytime in the future either.

The loud clang you heard was my jaw hitting the floor when Remi reacted or overreacted more like, the way he did to seeing Xander and Bree!  My thoughts were exactly the same as hers he was behaving just like Jacob would have.  He so disappointed me so I hope they can get through that.  I don't see how he has been possessive before, he's always backed off when asked, in fact it has been her inviting him back into her space more than once.

I do hope Xander and Bree locked the verandah doors before they went out. ???

Seeing as most people still leave their doors open and unlocked it was a surprise Bree didn't walk in on Eden and Remi, though I don't suppose he would be able to get up to much action with his arm the way it is.  I'm glad Eden opened up to Remi and owned up to how confused she felt about her flashbacks about her and Cash, saying she didn't know how she was supposed to feel about them.

It must have been mixed emotions for Bree not feeling able to go to Jacob's funeral, wanting to say a final goodbye to the guy she did love at one time, but not wanting to upset his family who would know how he died and who killed him, those of their old friends who did and gave her flak and those who didn't.

Secret hiding places for booze never are for long, Nik found Felicity's quick enough, of course she made the usual excuses.  He didn't really have much option but to let Tane and Cash into what he had found following advice from John.  Three of them ganging up on her wouldn't have been good, but that could have been said if it had been Tane necking the booze.  It hit a nerve hence her reaction. Spur of the moment  decision to move in the van, didn't have much with her, just her bag of booze.  She's got the OK from the hospital that there isn't any long term damager from the smoke inhalation but no-one seems to have asked about any psychological damage.  She goes into melt down and pushes the self destruct button tonight.

I like the way Mali and Rose are going, keeping it nice and light and taking it slowly.

John and Alf at loggerheads again, nothing unusual about that, but Alf did apologise about accusing John of going behind his back. Who got to scoff the muffins then?

I thought for a split second that might be Theo's stalker but wow, is that Ava?  Not bad, not bad at all.  Although I find her hard to convince as Justin's daughter.  She seems like fun and I do think someone like her is needed, so hopefully she will cause a little bit of trouble.

It's been very frustrating watching Marilyn over the last few days.  Wanting to spend time with Ziggy and Dean's baby and trying to be there for Felicity.  Just a shame some of that couldn't have been directed towards Heather.

I'm glad Nikau told Cash and Tane about Felicity and again whilst I don't particularly like John I do really enjoy him in scenes with Nikau.  I think those two gel really well together.  Felicity is pretty much a borderline alcoholic now.  Don't like Gabe but it's hard to disagree with his stance here.  Salt isn't doing great once again so Felicity can't go drinking away the profits and I do think a hardline attitude is required for both hers and Mackenzie's sakes.  It will be interesting to see if she attempts to ban Felicity from Salt until she sorts herself out as she obviously needs help.

Remi continues to act like a spoilt child.  It felt like him leaving Salt and threatening to leave the Bay was crying out for Bree's attention again.  I'm guessing he wants her to beg him to stay so he can feel better about himself like when she spoke to him because he refused to go to the hospital over his arm.

Alf's episode count this week:Four. Marilyn, Justin, Dean and Remi were the only ones to make three.(Irene was credited on Friday but didn't appear.)

Remi really didn't do himself any favours in the first half of the episode.Even when Xander spelt it out to him what was going on, he continued to sulk and make sub-Jacob comments that bordered on being threats like "I was her friend once and look how I ended up." I do appreciate him trying to support Theo and Kirby, and he even did a decent job of it until Bree turned up with Xander. His reaction did feel like jealousy again, even if it's just over Xander replacing him as Bree's go-to person; he even looked happy to see her until he saw she wasn't alone. I do hope he doesn't leave town though.

I was pleased at Felicity giving Marilyn short shrift when she stuck her nose in.Felicity was out of control and someone needed to rein her in but I really didn't like Gabe here.He was antagonistic towards her from the moment she turned up, with his pointed remarks about looking over the books as if she was somehow to blame for every problem. If he had a problem with her, he should have spoken to Mackenzie and let her handle it, not try and boss her about when, as Felicity said, he's just Mackenzie's boyfriend.(Who somehow gets the credit for the duo gig when that was Mackenzie's idea?)And Mackenzie arbitrarily deciding that they don't give away free drinks anymore just made her look like a hypocrite.(What's the bet Dean's still getting free takeaways?)Still, Felicity does seem to have well and truly regressed back to the mess she was when she first turned up, even screwing up her friends' gig just to make a childish point, and this time, all the people that pulled her into line back then are the very people she wants to avoid dealing with.

And yes, the return of Ava, recast for the second time.I did like her interaction with Justin, Theo and Kirby, so see where she goes.

How many weeks or months is it since we’ve seen the interior of Summer Bay House now? I can’t remember the last time we saw John’s house either.

Given the limited studio space when building sets they probably need to go back to the old section set design like the Stewart House or the old Nash House (Leah’s) where they could just have the Lounge or the Kitchen or the Dining Room up depending on space.

Ava certainly has shot up, when did we last see her?  Amusing when Theo thought she as a customer then Justin looks up from under the bonnet to give the big reveal.  Be a learning curve for Justin having a teenager in the house, quick intro to Kirby too.

Remi did wind his neck in and for him it does feel painful to see Bree being friends with Xander when I guess for him it would be too soon for him and Bree to take up where they left off.  He's not jealous like Jacob was, more envious, he is giving her her space.  She isn't in a good space either, seeing that letter she wrote to Remi and maybe wondering if she still means it?

Mac has been where Flick is so has been cutting her some slack, but now enough is enough, it's only one gig for Lyrik which did/was going down well, place was packed, until Flick threw her wobbly.  Neither Felicity or Gabe got off on the right foot, but it is because of the frame of mind she is in, any other time she would be willing to take his ideas on board or listen to him at least. He doesn't help either by coming across as the Big I Am.    All very well everyone trying to help, but they are all too close so needs professional help but as we all know it's getting the person who needs it to admit they do.  She was freaked out by the bonfire.

I did wonder for a minute because she is so drunk she had no sense whether she would trip and fall into it as with that amount of rum in the bottle as well it would have caused a real problem.

She really is acting like a petulant child though, no much different to usual, hehe! ?
