James Martin Posted September 12, 2025 Report Posted September 12, 2025 No, at most you might get a special episode exclusive to 7+/My5/RTÉ Player but it wouldn't be on physical media. 1 Quote

adam436 Posted December 15, 2025 Report Posted December 15, 2025 Ironically Sally and Sam are the only two child actors to ever make the opening titles and both stayed for a lengthy period - Sally and Sam. We also had Christopher Fletcher and Duncan Stewart who were seen less freqently- the same actors seemed to portray them for most of the 90s through to 1998, when Chris left with Pippa and Duncan was recast/SORASed. Does anyone know when those actors first appeared? Quote

adam436 Posted December 16, 2025 Report Posted December 16, 2025 Ah, I meant when Lewis Devaney and Shaun Wood started in the roles and how long we saw them grow up onscreen. It's a shame we didn't see more of teenage Chris Fletcher given the storyline. He could have moved in with Sally and Flynn to be near a better school etc. In some ways H&A has gone backwards in LGBT representation since we had the likes of Chris Fletcher and Mandy. Quote

Lewis played Duncan from age 1 (1990), Shaun played Chris from about age 3/4 (1992). Check the ep guide for accuracy. And it really is a shame this show doesn't have its first regular out-and-proud LGBT character yet. 7 probably have a conservative stance on that. Even Neighbours which was seen as "toytown" for years stepped up but they never made it the whole character's identity. Quote
