zx50 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 By the looks of this, the ratings seem to be dropping 20,000 viewers each time. I can't understand it myself, home and away is such a damn good soap to watch, i'm not saying it's totally realistic, but maybe this is the whole appeal of this soap.
Krazy Karl Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 LOL... well it depends on how the current champ is going on Temptation, and the day of the week It is a normal weekly fluctuation... By the way, Home And Away was 11th this week, though 4 of the top 10 were related to the AFL grand final
Frankie Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 They don't count the people who record episodes either. I imagine more people tape episodes towards the end of the week than at the beginning. Overall though it seems to be holding pretty steady.
Andy Posted September 28, 2005 Report Posted September 28, 2005 Ratings so far this week Monday 26th - 1.54m (1st for the night) Tuesday 27th - 1.57m (2nd for the night)
Andy Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Home and Away - Tuesday 4th October - 1.66m
zx50 Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I thought the average viewing figure's for the u.k were something around the 4m mark??
Krazy Karl Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 Yeah... but a lot more people live in the UK than in Australia!
JCR Posted October 5, 2005 Report Posted October 5, 2005 I thought the average viewing figure's for the u.k were something around the 4m mark?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, the most h+a's ever done on five was 3 million and that was for the 1st ep they showed, which was heavily advertised. Still, I don't think it does badly considering it's channel, timeslot and level of competition these days. It will never get as good ratings as neighbours, but that fact has always been true.
