Chapter 2 The Beach Colby is on the beach staring at the ocean when Dean turns up Dean: Hey Colby: Hey Dean: So you made a decision yet? Colby: no Dean: Is it really that hard? Colby: yes! It could be the most important decision I ever have to make Dean: way to be dramatic! Colby: I thought you wanted honesty! Dean: maybe not that much! Colby: You can’t just force me to make this decision, it affects all 3 of us! Dean: and who’s fault is that? Colby: Well it’s not just mine! Dean: I already said I was at fault! We all are! Colby: You know when we met all those years ago I never thought we’d end up here Dean: what in summer bay? And you a cop? And me still the same guy I ever was? Colby: stop doing that Dean: doing what? Colby: acting like your not a good person! Like you haven’t changed! Like their is nothing to fight for! Dean: I wouldn’t be here if their wasn’t anything left to fight for! Colby: I know! And me too. Dean: I love you Colby: I love you too Dean: and Willow Colby: Yep Dean: You stoke my girl and my heart! Like how does that work? Colby: You stole mine too, you and Willow Dean: Maybe we should just forget this whole ultimatum and just all be together? Colby: you know I can’t! Dean: Yeah but me and Willow can! Colby: I know! Sometimes I wish I just let you too sort it out and not of got involved! Dean: me too Colby: but we can’t go back and I have to make this decision. For better or worst right... Dean: Just remember what ever happens we will always be best friends! Colby: good that makes this easier Dean: I never said it was going to be easy but when it’s right it’s right you know Colby: yeah I know Dean: I’m going to go see Willow but I want an answer soon Colby: Don’t worry Willow already gave me a deadline of a week Dean: A week then Colby: One week Dean kisses Colby Dean: Bye Colby: Bye
