At some point though FIVE are going to have to give it a break because we will overtake Australian episodes as Austrailia have breaks in their showings. Neighbours has breaks on BBC1 and thats the only thing that keeps us from overtaking the australian episodes.

I really can't see five takeing a break so looks like we will be overtaking aus in a Few years.

Five will have no choice but to take a break at some point - if we happen to overtake Oz, five will get a hefty fine as a part of the contract!

The soonest we could catch up with Oz is early 2008 I think; that is if Five continue to play H&A five nights a week throughout the year and Seven don't take any more than a six-week break each year.

I think we should seriously campaign for Five to buy the rights for older episods.

PS: Would they buy them from Seven or ITV?

Five may just have home and away at weekends if they get to close.
