Si-Co is right, SA episodes go out on the right day. I doubt this will happen for much longer, because GO (the channel which broadcasts H&A) have made quite a few mess-ups with episodes in the past - a few weeks ago, they skipped an entire episode! (which was ok with me, cos the storyline was pretty boring at that time!  )

I also think GO are a bit slap-happy at their commercial break points (they take three breaks, but not at the same places as Australia). You often see a quick flash of the next scene before their animated 'break-bumper' thing kicks in, and also on returning from the break you sometimes see part of the pre-break shot.

Have they updated the H&A break-bumpers? They used to show Alex in them even a few months after he left the show.

Yeah, H&A is not treated very well here, although out of the 4 different channels it's been on here in SA, this channel treats it the best!

No, the break bumpers have not been updated. It still features Dani, Noah, Hayley and Alex. Also, the image for H&A on the GO website features Hayley and Noah, so let's see if they actually change that now that Noah is no more! Finally - there is ad for H&A that airs here, and while it is a very innovative ad, it still shows Josh in it!!

Hey Si-Co!

H&A was first shown here back in 1994 on an old SABC channel (was called TV1 back then) They showed H&A from the first episode, along with Neighbours at about 1pm every day. Then in 1996 it was shown on SABC3 (another free to air channel). But it was eventually cancelled on SABC3 (not surprisingly, because it used to be shown at like 10 in the morning!) It was also shown on BOP TV from 2000 (free to air, but only in the Johannesburg region). They started with the 1995 episodes, and showed 2 episodes a day from 7-8pm. We eventually got up to the 2001 episodes before the channel closed down. Then, since August 2003 it has been on the satellite channel GO.
