Eerik Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Today's Estonian episode (3100) was great! Fisher found out that Seb is his grandchild. One of the best episodes I have seen in a long time. They showed also clips of Alan Fisher's death. Nick and Kirsty broke up. Very good episode. :yeah:
lolajaney Posted January 11, 2006 Report Posted January 11, 2006 Best news I've ever heard... Nick and Kirsty breaking up... Have you had Kane and Kirsty yet? Jane
Jess Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 Just wondering.....it says in the 'News' section of Bttb, that 'Home and Away' is now shown in France by AB Droits. So when it's shown in other non-English speaking countries, such as France, do the voices get dubbed or are subtitles shown, or is everyone expected to understand the English? And also, does anyone know if 'Home and Away' is currently shown in Italy? And if so, what channel is it on and what episode are they up to? Thanks, much appreciated, XxX
MarMar Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 It is a well-known fact that Frech people don't like English, something which became very obvious to me when we went there last summer. I would guess that H&A will be dubbed to French, as the general viewer would not be able/willing to understand the English audio. Also, it's not common to use subtitles in France/Germany/other central-European countries, anthough H&A is shown with Dutch subtitles in the Netherlands (At least I think it is.). H&A is shown with English audio and Norwegian subtitles in Norway.
Frankie Posted January 22, 2006 Report Posted January 22, 2006 It varies, in Italy its dubbed I think, and also Estonia, Its subttled in Norway and Sweden. Perhaps our various members all over the world can ennlighten us. Do we have a comprehensive list of all the countries where its shown, and where they are at....just out of interest?
