Hannah's dad, Keith, went into Don's office and held him hostage for an episode demanding to see his daughter.

You can find clips of the episode there.

It was screened, or rather it wasn't, a few months after the Dunblane massacre. Of absolute no interest at all is Thomas Hamiltion, the man with the gun, used to teach at the high school I went to. My claim to fame.

Remember kids,

On December 23rd you will think that you are celebrating the screening of the 4000th episode. You are not. This will only be the 3998th episode to be shown in the UK, as ITV have never screened two of them.

On a censorship note, full marks to Five for leaving tonight's eppy intact. A good message for all of us there - know that your drink is kosher.

Interestingly the parallels between UK and AUS eps are uncanny. Matty does drugs in the UK, Kim is doing them in Aus. Dan threatens to dump Leah in the UK, now Leah's threatening to dump Dan in Aus.

Creepy s**t, man.

The upcoming H&A storylines in Australia look amazing! :) But I'm not a happy bunny 'cos I've just looked on the Australian episode summaries, and the last ep. to have aired in the UK (not sure of the number) aired in Australia on 11 June of this year! So we've got to wait SO long for all the fab storylines in Australia to air here in the UK! I know it's a contractual (is that a word?) agreement between Channel 7 in Australia and Five in the UK, but I wish we could catch up so that eps. were airing here simulataneously with Australia! Sorry, slightly off topic I know, but I feel MUCH better now I've vented my frustration (even if it hasn't really done anything to rectify the situation) here! :D But I must admit that I'm still pretty hooked on the Matilda/Callan/Ric storyline and the fact that evil nurse Zoe/Eve McCallister will be returning in the very distant '05 Season Finale (due to be aired here around May 15th time I think)!

Well, H&A is taken off the air in Oz for 6-8 weeks each year, so we are slowly catching up. In about three years time we should be about on a par with Australia.

Southern Star International is currently negotiating first-time sales of Home and Away in a number of European markets.

It is unclear at this stage as to what season they will begin with.

I was just wondering, what seasons are other countries showing at the moment?

Estonia is still stuck in 2001, episode 3097 at the moment. Norway is showing the end of season 2003? UK, season 2005? But all other countries?

Sorry, if this topic has already been discussed.

I didn't even realise some countries were that behind. I thought being five months behind was bad lol.

Our television channel is doing good job with caching up at the moment. We don't have any holiday breaks and in summer time we see 2 episodes per day. That's about 300 episodes in year. The gap decreases slowly but surely
