Sally and Joel-Good Scenes Sally and Gypsy= After the wedding they got on well Pippa and Alisa-Good Scenes and understood other ones issues Shane and Shannon- Chemistry Alf and Joel- Loved their scenes Alf helped Joel through tough times Sally and Vinnie- Good Scenes he was always protective of her. Jack and Tash-There for each other when their respective partners were missing and through some tough stuff Cassie and Ric- There for each other

They had more in common both having a dark past. If Ailsa had stayed her and Irene's friendship would had grown even more. I like Leah's frienedship with Ailsa too and it's a shame they didn't have more years to build on it.

I also enjoyed Irene and Marilyn in the late 90s - I don't really think their relationship has been that iconic this time around. Summer's Bay Posted December 3, 2017 Report Posted December 3, 2017 A few of mine Ailsa and Bobby- I liked their friendship however at times I felt that Bobby only did what Ailsa told her to as opposed to doing what she really wanted to. I get it, Ailsa was the moral compass and in some situations her advise was justified but in others...not so much. Ailsa and Pippa (Vanessa)- Tom and Alf Sally (young Sally) and Lance Bobby and Carly- they had a dysfunctional relationship but deep down it was obvious that they really cared for each other Narelle and Bobby/Frank Shame there wasn't much continuation of this Bobby and Frank (before they got together) it was obvious they were going to end up together but I liked the bond they had. Frank and Steven- would've loved this to be explored more however Uncle Phillip probably took over most of that
