Traceve Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 (edited) Wow. I didn't know that. I know you just hoped so much that they would live because of the determinatin and the way they stuck together, that possibly was the most upsetting moment for me. My mum was right though, she said that she's proud of them because they never gave up, they died fighting. True hero's x They had the knowledge of what was going on outside eg the towers and the pentagon. Apparently all the planes were suppose to hit within 10 minutes of each other but sinc United 93 had a delay, it was probably the delay that saved all those other people. But your right, they were True Heros Edited January 10, 2007 by Traceve Quote

Traceve Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Oh ok, Sorry. I didnt know what date that was. Not al of the thing surounding that day (Sept 11) are sad, there are quie a few that are .. uplifting, Like eventhough so many people had died that day, no-one gave up. Like the picture of the Fireman rasing the flag..etc. Quote
xsianx Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 (edited) After the towers collapsed, only 19 people were dug out alive.... but peoples determinatin that day was absolutly amazing. People came from different states and different walks of life to help, so the scumbags that did those acts failed because they broke the strengh of Americans. I can't remember who said this but I think it was police officer who was first on the scene " They brought America to our knees but what they didn't know, is that we stood back up and became taller than ever."
