Jude's House

Jude and Matt approach Jude's mom

Susan: oh look you brought your little boyfriend with you, aren't you tough enough to face me on your own?
Jude: hes not my boyfriend
Susan: oh yeah thats right, you messed that up didn't you, why is he even here? I'm surprised he still cares
Jude: so am I and hes here because I begged him to come
Susan: oh why? what do you think I'm going to do?
Jude: nothing you haven't done before
Susan: oh poor Jude, making out your the victim all the time, it must be exhasting
Jude: I don't have to make out anything, the bruises speak for themselves
Susan: yeah and blaming them on me, whos to say someone else didn't give you those?
Jude: I'm not the liar in this family
Susan: oh yes that would be me right, your pathetic, no wonder you can't keep a guy
Jude: like you can talk
Susan: wow you can stand up to me, bravo
Jude: oh like I haven't done it before
Susan: yeah right, you so haven't, otherwise you would of stopped me long ago
Jude: I tried.. you were too strong
Susan: you were crying, screaming at me to stop
Jude: why didn't you stop?
Susan: because your useless, I have no use for a stupid daughter
Jude: you might be my mum by blood but thats all you are
Susan: oh what, you going to go live with Matt? is he your family now
Jude: so what if I am? at least I'l be away from you
Susan: yes because I'm your worst nightmare
Jude: you are
Susan: how about you stay and see if you can be the daughter I need
Jude: I'm not staying here
Susan: you think I'm just going to let you and your little boyfriend leave, think again

The Farm House

Evelyn arrives back and is glad to find Kat their

Kat: hey, whats up?
Evelyn: I need your help
Kat: whats happened?
Evelyn: Matt went to his ex's house
Kat: I'm confused
Evelyn: his ex needed his help
Kat: with what?
Evelyn: with her abusive mum
Kat: what?
Evelyn: can you please go out their and save them?
Kat: where does she live?
Evelyn: I don't know
Kat: I can go to the station and find out, make this into a formal investigation
Evelyn: thank you
Kat: hopefully Matt will be ok
Evelyn: I hope so
Kat: just stay here and let the cops handle this
Evelyn: I will

Kat leaves

Roo, Matt and Ellie's Apartment

Ellie and Raffy arrive back

Ellie: looks like no-one is here
Raffy: yep we have the place to ourselves
Ellie: what do you want to do?
Raffy: we could play cards
Ellie: sounds good, I'll go get them

Dylan's House

Brian: so do you think Matt will tell your parents about us?
Dylan: no idea
Brian: we have to be extra careful now
Dylan: I know
Brian: how long until your parents are back?
Dylan: about an hour
Brian: well at least we get some time together
Dylan: yeah, I just wish we had more time
Brian: me too
Dylan: so you want to watch some TV?
Brian: sounds good
Dylan: I'll go make some popcorn

Roo, Matt and Ellie's apartment

Raffy: I win, again
Ellie: no fair
Raffy: all is fair in love, war and card games
Ellie: yeah fine but I want a re-match
Raffy: yeah later
Ellie: fine
Raffy: what should we do now?
Ellie: ring up our friends and invite them over
Raffy: yeah we could have a party
Ellie: small get together
Raffy: same thing
Ellie: yes, one just sounds better
Raffy: ok
Ellie: lets start calling people

Dylan's House

Dylan and Brian are kissing each other goodbye when they hear a car pull up

Brian: oh ****, your parents are back
Dylan: hide 

Brian goes to hide in Dylan's room while Dylan goes to open the door

Tim: hey son
Natalie hugs Dylan
Tim: how was your night?
Dylan: good
Tim: oh you made popcorn?
Dylan: yeah, I was hungry
Natalie: we brought dinner, chinese your favorite
Dylan: thanks
Tim: anything good on TV?
Dylan: not really, I was just channel surfing
Natalie: maybe we should watch a movie tonight?
Dylan: sure sounds great

Dylan's phone rings but its upstairs

Dylan: I should get that
Tim: no, were having dinner first, no phones during dinner time
Dylan: fine
Natalie: hey we don't have many rules but eating together un-interrupted is one of them
Tim: yes we give you free rein most of the time and we only ask that you stick to the rules
Dylan: yes dad
Tim: good boy
Dylan: so did you get the beef satay?
Natalie: of course we did, we know its your favorite
Tim: dig in

Chapter 52:

Jude's House

Jude: you can't keep us here?
Susan: can't I?
Jude: just let Matt go
Susan: why should I do that?
Jude: because hes not invoved in this
Susan: you brought him here, you made him involved
Jude: no I needed back up
Susan: hey did she tell you everything that happened? all the lies she has been saying about me?
Matt: yes she told me everything
Susan: so she told you about how all my boyfriends came onto her, forced themselves on her?
Matt: yes
Susan: your such a sucker, just beleiving her
Matt: I do beleive her
Susan: why are you so certain shes telling the truth? she could be lying to you?
Matt: she's not, I would know
Susan: does anyone really know my daughter? its not like she trusts anyone
Matt: she trusted me
Susan: maybe that was a mistake
Matt: I don't think it was
Susan: of course you don't, you don't see the real her, do you?
Matt: I know who she is
Susan: and I don't?
Matt: you definatley don't
Susan: you seem sure about that?
Matt: I am
Susan: ok, you want to leave?
Matt: no, I think I'll stay
Jude: Matt just go, you've done your duty, I don't need you
Matt: says the person who begged me to come
Jude: I was wrong to drag you here, I can take care of this, just go
Matt: I'm not going to leave you here by yourself
Jude: just go Matt, she will hurt you if you don't
Matt: you don't think I can defend myself?
Jude: so not the point I was making
Matt: what was your point?
Jude: I can't let you get hurt because of me
Matt: too late
Jude: what?

Matt decides to punch Susan in the face at that point and Susan attempts to attack him back but Jude jumps in front of Matt and takes the blow herself...

Dylan's House

Dylan escapes to his room to check his phone but when he gets their Brian is gone, he finds a note that says "I snuck out, I'll see you soon, love you", Dylan smiles before checking his phone and realises their is a missed call from Raffy, he calls Raffy back..

Roo, Matt, Ellie's apartment

Ellie, Raffy, Rebecca, Sam and Cody are together when Raffy gets a call from Dylan, she tells him about the pary and he agrees to come before hanging up.

Dylan's House

Dylan goes downtairs to tell his parents that he is going out but is surprised to find Jamie their

Dylan: whats going on
Tim: Jamie was just telling us an intersting story
Natalie: you may want to explain your version?
Dylan: what did he tell you?
Jamie: I told them that I saw Brian leaving your house before
Dylan: your point is?
Tim: just wondering what he was doing here?
Dylan: he was toturing me
Natalie: since when does he do toturing?
Dylan: since very recently
Tim: but why you? you never said you were having trouble at school
Dylan: I've been having trouble with Maths
Tim: and you didn't come to me? I work in accounting
Dylan: you never have time for me, I just thought I would handle it on my own
Tim: I'll take more time off work to help you, you could of just asked me
Dylan: I'm sorry and yeah that would be good, thank you
Natalie: so where are you heading tonight?
Dylan: to Ellie's house
Tim: oh ok, have fun

Dylan leaves the house

Outside Dylan's House

Jamie has followed him

Jamie: looks like you got yourself out of that one
Dylan: how'd you even find out?
Jamie: maybe your not as clever as you think you are
Dylan: why do you want to break us up?
Jamie: because I don't agree with you guys being "gay"
Dylan: how is that any of your business?
Jamie: its not but I should still get an opion about it
Dylan: it has nothing to do with you
Jamie: yeah your right it dosen't, just be careful you never know who's watching?

Jamie leaves

Chapter 53:

Roo, Matt and Ellie's apartment

Dylan arrives and the others are concerned when they see his face, Rebecca drags him away to talk

Rebecca: whats wrong?
Dylan: my parents nearly found out about me and Brian
Rebecca: how?
Dylan: your brother
Rebecca: what did Jamie do?
Dylan: he told my parents that Brian left our house before but I covered
Rebecca: and he let you do that?
Dylan: yep
Rebecca: hes probally just messing with you
Dylan: I hope so
Rebecca: come on lets forget about that and have some fun
Dylan: you always did know how to make me feel better
Rebecca: yep and I'm doing it again, so lets go

Jude's House

Kat and the cops arrive to find the place very quiet, they decide to search the rooms and eventually find Susan, she keeps yelling at them saying that "they attacked her" and ran off. Kat asks where "they" went and Susan says she dosen't know but she dosen't care. Kat asks if "they" are hurt too but Susan says nothing and asks to be taken to the hospital. Kat and the others search the property but their is no else around.

Roo, Matt and Ellie's apartment

Ellie and Raffy are together

Ellie: that was fun
Raffy: yeah its always good when we hang out together
Ellie: yeah our friends are pretty cool
Raffy: I hope Dylan will be ok
Ellie: I'm sure he will be
Raffy: luckily we don't have to deal with relationshp issues
Ellie: yeah were pretty lucky
Raffy: we are and we won't forget it
Ellie: no we won't

Ellie and Raffy kiss

Raffy: should I go home?
Ellie: yeah it is getting late
Raffy: ok, well I will see you tomorrow
Ellie: sounds good

Raffy leaves

Rebecca's House

Rebecca arrives back to find Jamie their

Jamie: oh hey, how was your night?
Rebecca: it would of been better if you left Dylan alone
Jamie: so he came crying to you did he?
Rebecca: why can't you just accept them
Jamie: because its wrong
Rebecca: your such a homophobe
Jamie: never said I wasn't
Rebecca: seriously they are happy together and I thought Brian was your friend?
Jamie: he is, I just think hes making a mistake
Rebecca: thats not your decision to make
Jamie: I'm just looking out for him
Rebecca: no your looking out for yourself, how can you be friends with Brian but still act this way?
Jamie: we were friends for years before he decided he was gay
Rebecca: he was confused but now hes not, he knows who he is, maybe you should accept that
Jamie: I'll try
Rebecca: really?
Jamie: yeah you are right, I am suppose to be his friend and friends support each other
Rebecca: yeah they do
Jamie: its not going to be easy to stop thinking the way I do but maybe I can be helped
Rebecca: well we will start with you and fix the rest of the world later
Jamie: making the world better one person at a time, right?
Rebecca: something like that
Jamie: enough emotional talk, I'm going to bed, goodnight
Rebecca: goodnight

Roo, Matt and Ellie's apartment

Matt drags Jude in the door who is asleep and he takes her to his room and lays her down on his bed but before he leaves he whispers "I'll protect you".

Chapter 54:

Roo, Matt and Ellie's Apartment

Matt answers the door to Kat

Matt: hello
Kat: is Jude here?
Matt: yeah but shes asleep, why what do you need?
Kat: can you wake her up, this is serious
Matt: ok

Matt goes upstairs and brings Jude back with him

Jude: and you are?
Kat: I'm Kat, I'm a cop
Jude: yeah ok, what can I do for you?
Kat: Evelyn told me what your mum did
Jude: yeah and your point is?
Kat: you need to press charges, let the cops handle this
Jude: why should I trust you?
Kat: because I want to help you
Jude: people say they want to help but when it comes down to it they bail
Kat: we will get justice for you but you need to work with me
Jude: why so I can convict my momther only for her to get off or maybe do a few years and then get out? yeah no thanks its not worth it
Kat: your statement could put her away for good, Matt's too
Jude: wait your testifiring too?
Matt: I said I would help you and I will, just trust her ok, she can help you
Jude: if your sure?
Matt: I am
Jude: ok I'll do it
Kat: good, then lets not waste anymore time, come down to the station with me now, both of you

The Farm House

Justin arrives to see Phoebe

Phoebe: hey
Justin: hi
Phoebe: I just thought we could talk
Justin: so you made a decision
Phoebe: I did
Justin: so...
Phoebe: you know I keep thinking about what you told me before
Justin: which part?
Phoebe: the part about chosing the person I can't live without and I realised you were right but you were also wrong too
Justin: how so?
Phoebe: beause its not about who I can't live without.. its more about who I want to be with I guess
Justin: well yeah
Phoebe: you know I keep thinking how everytime we got close, something or someone got in the way
Justin: yeah that was so annoying
Phoebe: and yet when we finally have our chance, Brody told me how he felt and then I was confused
Justin: understandable
Phoebe: yes it was but it also put everything into presective I guess
Justin: yeah?
Phoebe: it was like finally seeing what was right in frount of me
Justin: what did you see?
Phoebe: I keep thinking about us and everything we could be and how I could have just picked you then but theres a reason I didn't and I think the moment I made that decision I knew it was going to be him, I'm really sorry and I hope we can still be friends because I don't want to lose you from my life
Justin: wow I really should of been perpared for that but I wasn't.. I thought what he had was real and that you loved me
Phoebe: I did love you and I still do
Justin: then whats the problem?
Phoebe: the probem is that I'm not in love with you.. maybe I was before or maybe I just confused the two, I don't know but I know what I feel now and I'm so sorry I didn't chose you
Justin: you don't have to be sorry for how you feel or what you want, you deserve to be happy and if I can't be that for you then thats ok, we will still be friends, I don't think I could not have you be in my life after everything we've been though but I do need time to get my head straight and all that, I love you and my brother is a lucky guy

Justin kisses Phoebe and leaves

The Morgan House

Justin, Tori, Brody, Mason, Raffy and Hope are all having breakfast together when their is a knock at the door and they are all surprised to see Decker

Decker: I have some news
Justin: is it over? are we free now?
Decker: I have most of the syident rounded up but not all of them
Tori: will this ever be over?
Decker: it will be, we just need a bit more time
Raffy: so are we still staying in the bay?
Hope: do we have to leave?
Decker: it would be better if you all just stay here, you are still safe here
Raffy: how long can you stay?
Decker: not long, I do have to go back but I thought we could spend a few hours together at least
Hope: that sounds nice
Raffy: yeah we've missed you
Decker: I've missed you guys too

Roo, Matt and Ellie's Apartment

Jude and Matt are chatting

Matt: you ok?
Jude: I'm feeling better about things
Matt: were you ok giving your statement
Jude: yeah it was easier than I thought it would be, Kat was really supportive
Matt: yeah shes like that
Jude: hey there's something else I need help with
Matt: what is it?
Jude: can you help me find a place to stay?
Matt: I'm not sure if you staying in the bay is a good idea
Jude: I know that's why I'm not staying here
Matt: then where?
Jude: I thought I would stay at Yabbie Creek, I need to get out of here but I want to be close to you too, just not that close
Matt: so you ready for the hearing next week?
Jude: yeah I am, you going to come with me?
Matt: of course
Jude: thank you, hopefully this time next week my mom will be locked up and I can get on with my life

The Farm House

Brody arrives to see Phoebe

Phoebe: hi
Brody: hey
Phoebe: I've made my decision
Brody: and?
Phoebe: I chose you
Brody: really?
Phoebe: I'm in love with you
Brody: I'm in love with you too

Phoebe and Brody kiss

Phoebe: wow that was amazing
Brody: yeah it was
Phoebe: I hope we make it
Brody: I know we will
Phoebe: how?
Brody: because I have faith
