What can we expect from the 30th anniversary?

There was a recent article about Cornelia Frances' cancer in which she says she hadn't heard anything about 30th anniversary celebrations (she may not have been well enough to take part, but it doesn't even sound like she was asked!). I find that really sad, given H&A has such a rich history and iconic characters from each era of the show, that it is not being acknowledged in a bigger way.

Take a leaf out Neighbours' book. Though elements of the 30th anniversary were poorly executed (the wedding for example, and some returns being blink-and-miss-it that it hardly seemed worth it!), it was great for nostalgia and I think something for fans of most/all eras to enjoy. It would have been good for H&A to consider doing a retrospect documentary too, like Neighbours did. Though I am not really fan of post-2000 Home and Away (which is more than half the show's lifespan!), I get that others are and I'm sure there would be plenty to cover and would probably watch the whole thing anyway just to "fill in the gaps" of the big moments.

I think they should have considered at least bringing back the iconic characters: Fisher, Sally, Ailsa (not sure how though that wouldn't seem cliche), Pippa and as many of the original foster children as possible!

I believe they should bring back old characters throughout the years, yes Home and away turned 30th but if they pan it out brining back old characters throughout the year would be awesome instead of putting them in one scene all together.

How old do you think he looks? Just asking

Hard to say. Quite young in the first reveal but older in the following scenes.

Just how many car accidents happen in Summer Bay anyway??  The residents all need to go on a refresher course.

I'd like to see some characters from the early years come back this year, (especially Sally) but with a purpose, not just shoehorning them in for the sake of it.
