I suppose at least someone thought when adding the salon that the Diner exterior had a whole part to the right not used onscreen, even if the designers didn't get it quite right.
vinny Posted November 20, 2016 Report Posted November 20, 2016 So 3 ish months till the Saul cult storyline?

You'll also notice now that the Salon has been introduced, the door in the kitchen to the little storeroom remains permanently shut. This is because the storeroom (which you used to be able to see into, it had shelves and a little window) occupied the same space Marilyn now walks into/out of from the Diner.

Poor Andrew Foley's drop in centre was booted out because it was a health hazard walking through the kitchen. He could have just moved rooms!

Which makes you wonder why they didn't just put the door to the salon where the sign is and put the sign where the door is (where someone other than the viewer) would see it. I was half expecting them to utilise that side of Summer Bay House when Sally & Flynn moved in as his surgery, but it never happened.
