Yeah it'll only be an opportunity for repeat viewings of recent eps or the omnibus airings, much like they were on their other channel Viva at one point.

The modern show is a bit too gritty for 2010s Nickelodeon. Maybe a decade ago when some Teens still watched Nick.

And if C5 did resume early years, it'd wind up on 5Star as per.

I do wish that 5 would start showing the Early Years again.   I personally reckon that showing older episodes of both H&A and Neighbours could help to boost the ratings for the newer episodes- in that during that they could use the trailer space before and after the programmes, during the adverts and over the credits to advertise the newer episodes- therefore bringing back fans who might of, over the year lost interest in the show.

UPDATE: This has now be announced as starting on the 18th April!

And regarding 5STAR showing the early ones again, don't you think they would realise that the Early Years have been running for 7 years now in Australia and have been getting high ratings ever since, so try it from the beginning here in the UK?

For those interested, Nickelodeon have decided against airing Home and Away on the channel (but are continuing to do so with Neighbours).

Evidently they felt H&A wasn't suitable for their target market after all. Quite a difference to the 90's when H&A was pretty much considered as an extension of Children's ITV.

As suspected, it was only going to be the same episodes aired on Channel 5 earlier in the day anyway.

Knew it, With the product that's come up out in the last 12yrs with that major tonal shift starting with the original SB Stalker Felix, it's little wonder that Nick have some unease with it.
