Well now

Brax has left, as his episodes have not yet aired in the UK

and Louise Bowes has left and been replaced with Dan Bennett, I remain optimistic for H&A even if it does have a long way to go. Dan is no Messiah and his work will not bed in overnight but if Bevan Lee apparently said he knows the show inside out I do remain hopeful.

H&A is almost 28 years old in terms of being on air, and could already be over 30 in terms of pre history as well as airtime if Alan Bateman had been working on the show 3 years before the pilot aired, it is a mega old soap. Like the iconic Corrie and EE in the UK, Neighbours and H&A are the 2 veteran iconic Aussie soaps but H&A has a bigger history due to more locations, more storylines and reinventing itself.

 

Now the show needs a new family and get rid of the dead wood such as Maddy, Andy, Phoebe, Zac and Nate.

Isn't this the same type of discussion that is going on in about four other threads? 

For some of us we know what H&A needs but we're not the ones casting the actors, writing the scripts or working on the show.
