Yes, first seen in Episode 11, last seen in 741....and last mentioned as being around in 993 (yes I attempted to keep track in order to try and solve the mystery). Kate Ritchie herself said it's always something she's questioned - what happened to Dag Dog?

Ah right, I'm a little behind and it's not mentioned in my existing notes - quite odd in that case. Presumably forgotten about by 1996 though, considering neither she or Cynthia turned up to you know what.

Speaking of disappearing characters (going off topic a bit I know). Pippa's brother must be the strangest one. I wonder if Debra was even aware Pippa had a brother.

Kate was referred to by name a fair bit in 1991 and got a nameless mention by Michael this season. 

As far as I'm aware Michael and Cynthia only had Haydn and Kate. Given the backstory, the marriage went to s*** not long after the business. Kate more than likely was pissed with Michael for sinking more time into that than the family and refused to entertain the notion of moving to the Bay and stuck with Cynthia.

1555 was repeated not so long ago on 5* during their Bay Icons showcase during the three week break last year.  As the reviewer on that eps page on the IMDB, Curtis and Shannon don't really get the time to make an impact until the Monday ep, due to being introduced in the cliffhanger.

Theories of Dag Dog:

Maybe he went the same way as Eric?  Maybe he was given away?  Maybe he went one on one with Tim Patterson's milk truck and came off second best?

We'll never know, will we? 

And LOL @ Alf and the whole lingerie thing. He went a bit green around the gills not too long ago over the whole Bikini thing with Sarah and Ailsa!

Two weeks?? I have to live without my beloved EY for two weeks? I think that's the longest its ever been off?

Michael still being a misery guts and taking it out on everyone. I feel sorry for Pippa and Shannon. Ive never seen Pippa this upset at Michael. I have no idea why I used to have such a soft spot for him. I now I dislike him. Intensely. 

I also feel sorry for poor Shannon. To her it doesn't feel like home with everyone always arguing. Curtis has it easy.

And poor sick Rob.
