j.laur5 Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 I love Rob. He's the most normal young guy we've had in the show in a long time!. He has character and looks!.
JosieTash Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 i LOOOOOOOOVE that we've got to the point where SHANNON !!!! ......one of my all time H&A faves [i always vote for her in the most popular character polls on here] ....... is in the show !!!! She's just as feisty and wonderful as i remember her !!!
CaptainHulk Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Curtis was sort of like Home and Away's answer to Neighbours' Brad Willis V2 (Kip Gamblin is V3) but of a higher IQ and less cheating!
Natasha Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Wow Michael was in a bad mood. He's such a misery guts lately about everything. Love Shannon and Curtis and also Rob too. A breath of fresh air these characters.
Old H&A Fan Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 I wish he would go out and "thank" Hayden for all the damage and misery he has caused.

He should have got on the blower to Cynthia (who at this point had a new bloke according to Haydn) and asked for his whereabouts so he could at least contact him (read: beat/curse). Though in that no-hoper's Defence, Michael was a bigger fool to give him the money!
beau_t Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 So Michael had a little tantrum because he spent ONE DAY doing housework for no thanks? He should try being in Pippa's shoes. I do feel sorry for him for the other issues he's going through, especially the way he was trying to hide it from Pippa, but he flew off the handle at the kids for totally the wrong reasons! Did anyone see Alf's face in the background when Ailsa mentioned the lingerie to Pippa? Nice bit of comedy. Nice to see Shannon and Alf's relationship started as it means to go on. IIRC they have quite a few heated exchanges over the years. Roxy's really run her course now as a character hasn't she? It's sad she used to be such a pleasant, upbeat, refreshing character. They've just made her really unlikable with this pushy, opinionated side to her personality that never used to be so extreme. The opening credits have now changed to bump Shane and Angel to second position and Alf and Ailsa to third. Pippa's footstool? Just me? Or did that look like the most uncomfortable thing ever. No wonder it's never seen again. Pippa must have "accidentally" lost it. With Shannon and Curtis' dog coming to the Ross house, no mention whatsoever of Dagdog.
early years fan Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Cynthia is Michael's first wife I take it? We don't seem to hear much about that history. You would have thought with him being so accepting of taking on Pippa and foster kids, he would have had a bit more to do with his kids from his former marriage. Did Hayden have any siblings or was he Michael's only child from the marriage?
beau_t Posted January 9, 2016 Report Posted January 9, 2016 Yes Cynthia was Michael's first wife and she was in the show for a little while early in Pippa and Michael's relationship. They had other children, but Haydn is the only one to have been to the Bay. The others were mentioned briefly during Michael's early episodes. From what we were told, Michael had a very successful business which went bankrupt and when the money stopped coming in, Cynthia divorced Michael and turned the kids against him. Cynthia and Haydn both realised the error of their ways but we can assume the other children never forgave Michael.
Dan F Posted January 9, 2016 Author Report Posted January 9, 2016 There was supposed to be a daughter called Kate, but it's probably safe to presume she was forgotten about as opposed to just being off-screen.
