j.laur5 Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 After today episode I am no longer looking at it as Early Years as Shannon and Curtis arrival makes feel like we move into new era.
Skylover Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 I love 1994, looking forward to 1995, it should be great
CaptainHulk Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 1995 is a killer year. You do get some comedy at the start but things get darker down the year without descending into Mid-2000s OTTness.
Skylover Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 Did anyone notice when Jack arrived he asked Damian why Michael and Pippa didn't have any kids of their own? And Damian replied that they did have a son called Dale but he died Surprised that got past everyone.. I can't believe how lucky we are to get this far.

Oh and hello again, where'd you spring up from?!
Skylover Posted January 7, 2016 Report Posted January 7, 2016 I guess there is no mistake, I just presumed they'd forgotten Christopher but after all he's not Michael's. Yes I'm back with a vengeance I've watched February-April of 1994 in about 3 days cause I want to catch up Jack looks so young on his arrival, the actor only looks about 14. What I like about the teens of the early years is that they actually do look their age. In 2015 an actor like Lisa who plays Roxy would have been put in a school uniform rather than playing a teacher.

Chris does call Michael "Daddy" down the track as he would likely have zero memory of Tom, Presumably Michael adopted him when he married Pip. Sort of Subverted Dawson casting with the teens. Only really Tristan/Tug was a little over out of the lot. Daniel Amalm would have probably began filming a few weeks before his 15th. Later Isla who played Shannon was about 3yrs older than her character
dncllpyk Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Christopher called Michael daddy in todays episode when he spilt his drink. Michael was out of line today when he blew his top at the boys. Roxy was annoying in todays episode with Rob not letting him watch tv while he was sick and not letting him eat chocolate biscuits they are only been going out for five minutes and she is running his life already? Pippa's birthday party was good but why wasn't Sally they as one of the original foster children she could of been there
Trudy Heine Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Was Sally's ankle still sore in Spoiler the finale? If so it would've been painful to run away on a sore ankle.
early years fan Posted January 8, 2016 Report Posted January 8, 2016 Roxy is being super annoying and overbearing, poor guy just wanted to watch the footy, he deserves a medal for putting up with her. she acts like she's 25 going on 18 its nice to see a pet in the series, the families never seem to have animals. The dog makes a welcome addition to the cast, wonder if it sticks around? can't remember. They are making the most of Curtis's surfie good looks with him getting around with the bare chested look. Shannon has a bit of cheek telling Alf not to leave his waders lying around in his own house.. I also thought Sally's absence was very noticeable at pippas birthday party today. Michael sure is being a grumpy pants, needs a break away from everyone. Pippa works just as hard as he does, and seems to do all the household chores, probably badly needs a break as well. The arguments they are having are probably more realistically portraying how a marriage is, rather then happy families all the time.
