j.laur5 Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Terrible send off. It was as bad as Matt and Rob.
Guest Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Beth decides to leave because of Tug right you had a thing for him too if I remember.Nick's exit was poorly done just a quick relief work/getting moved to another station was all we got.Sad the boat shed didn't sell at auction.Oh so Angel you finally decide you can't be with Todd because you still love Shane hoping they get back together soon.so Sarah has fond memories of Nathan despite all he was hmm...
CaptainHulk Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Terrible send off. It was as bad as Matt and Rob. They at least acted like Rob was still around for the next 4 years after he'd gone. We only got a teeny mention that Matt had taken up off North and that was like 2.5 years after he left when Adam was leaving.
Blaxland 89 Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Just found a load of big magazines from the time. Home and away was very popular in it. With Sophie and fin doing the agony aunt page and endless posters of Shane and Angel. The letters write in are so funny. Somebody said they hated Sally because all she ever does is complain nobody tells her anything and she has no good stories. Who'd have thought she become the shows most favourite character. Im from UK and gutted a no longer can keep up with the early years.
CaptainHulk Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 There are ways around that (Which cannot be discussed here for Obvious reasons).Trust me, If you want something BAD on the Internet, you'll find it! (Take that how you will)
Natasha Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Beth wasn't innocent in this. She's a grown woman and knew exactly what she was doing. And that was Nick's exit? :/
beau_t Posted September 26, 2015 Report Posted September 26, 2015 Terrible send off. It was as bad as Matt and Rob. They at least acted like Rob was still around for the next 4 years after he'd gone. We only got a teeny mention that Matt had taken up off North and that was like 2.5 years after he left when Adam was leaving.Adam mentioned that Matt had left to join a surfing circuit early in 1992, a few weeks after he disappeared. Nick's "exit" was bad but to be honest, he's been a waste of space for well over a year now. He just repeated the same scene episode after episode - hang around in Donald's kitchen and give Shane a generic hard time for something that doesn't concern him. The writers clearly had nothing for him to do, and no interest in him, so I'm glad he's gone.
Guest Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 I felt sorry for Todd when Angel broke up with him and at the end I felt sorry for Angel when Shane turned her down but we do know they get back together eventually.it was nice of Jack to buy Selina some shoes.Wonder what Alf is up too what news he might have for Pip and Michael.
Old H&A Fan Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Nick is still in the opening titles, but for how much longer?Shane will calm down eventually, and Angel I hope will apologise and he understands and accepts.
dncllpyk Posted September 28, 2015 Report Posted September 28, 2015 Shane is afraid of getting hurt that's why he rejected Angel. We all know they get back together Todd is a nice guy and on paper he ticks all the boxes a bit like Patrick Dempseys character in Sweet Home Alabama but Reese Witherspoons characters heart belongs to Josh Lucas character just like Angels heart belongs to Shane at the same time its said watching Shane and AngelBecause Shane dies
