Sophie was a whiny bitch and I would suspect the storyline was written from a politically motivated point of view, by ****-stirring feminists making a big issue out of nothing. I wish I knew what was going on in the script producer's minds sometimes...........:shrug:

I think he did start picking on her at work after that in a constructive dismissal kind of way, telling her to do things that he'd specifically told her weren't part of the job without giving her any training.
