Red Ranger 1 Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Kind of undecided on Michael's attitude to Randy. He did play a part in Sophie running away by being heavy-handed over her and David and you would think he'd be wary of doing the same with Fin, especially when Sophie even pointed out the similarity. That said, he's being a lot less heavy-handed and dogmatic and a lot more reasonable, even though Randy's arguably far less the sort of person you'd want your daughter to bring home than David was.(His problem with David amounted to "He's older than her" whereas Randy is genuinely irresponsible and a bit of a loser, albeit a harmless and amiable one.)He was out of line blaming Fin for Sophie's scare but he acknowledged that and apologised for it so I won't hold it against him.So...maybe he has learned something, just not as much as he could? Not sure what the point was of Randy going away for what seemed to be about a day either. Julia does indeed seem to have turned a corner and learned to work with Blake rather than, well, acting like Michael did with David and shoving him out the door every time he tries to breathe the same air as Meg.Even when she disagreed with him, she was a lot more reasonable about it than she has been. Oh joy, Ryan's back. Some people might say it means we get something different to Nick and Lou arguing.Other people might say it just means we get Nick and Lou arguing about Ryan.

Randy's age doesn't seem to have been mentioned, just his 'drifter' status, but he looks quite a bit older than Fin - what, about 24/25?
j.laur5 Posted September 23, 2013 Report Posted September 23, 2013 Ailsa is like a 90's Irene and Bobby is a 90's Leah as they both spent most of their time in the Diner.

At least Ryan on this visit will be more fun to watch and a lot less plot-devicey. Yeah, Michael did have his "Fuhrer" moments...
j.laur5 Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 I can't wait for this Meg storyline to be over!Pippa has gotten much more likeable now, all of last year she was unlikeable!
matty Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 Just wondering, when does Blake's father arrive, and how long does he stay?
Red Ranger 1 Posted September 26, 2013 Report Posted September 26, 2013 ^He makes his debut in Episode 1078 and continues to appear for eight weeks.
