I thought Noah was in the show for a long time before Jude turned up. Did they really cast them both at the same time?

Noah first appeared in the show in early September 2000 and Jude showed up in late October of the same year.

I'm not sure whether the characters were casted at the time but I find it fascinating that Danny Raco was initially given the role of Noah. I wasn't aware of that until now.

I haven't heard that. Although not a H&A star, I had heard that Ross Higgins (Kingswood Country) was offered or auditioned for Alf Stewart.

Ray Meagher as Tom would have been interesting, especially if Ray had stayed as Tom as long as he stayed as Alf.

Wow he would have been way to old for the role, he is almost 10 years older than Ray!
