I started this thread in a Neighbours forum too, and there were some surprising stories, so I thought I'd ask about Home and Away too. According to Wikipedia, Justine Clarke auditioned for Bobby, Carly and Lynn before finally getting the role of Roo. In a soap such as Home and Away, there are probably 100s of stories like that.

Dan F Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 Zac Drayson was actually cast as Tom Nash before they decided he'd be better as 'rougher' character Will, and Danni Minogue auditioned for Marilyn. I know there's others but can't think of them off the top of my head.

adam436 Posted January 24, 2015 Author Report Posted January 24, 2015 Danni Minogue auditioned for Marilyn Imagine how different Home and Away would have been if Dannii won the role. Marilyn would have disappeared after a year and we probably never would have seen her again

joany208121 Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 Barbra89, I don't know who bonnie auditioned for unfortunately, I'd take a guess at natalie or even Mel (lottie's mum) but Bonnie has been around for a while as she played a guest, Hayley Doven in 2010, meaning she could have auditioned for bianca or even Tegan.
