Mine must be Saul appearing on the computer screen. Terrified me and I used to be scared to be upstairs by myself (I was very young at the time). Don't know how I managed to ever use a computer after that.

My first memory of Home and Away was when Vinnie was still in it - can't remember when exactly.

But then the first one from when I started watching again was when Kit came to the bay and she was drunk I think.

I have vague memories of Shannon maybe trying to steal Jesse from Selena? I may be mixing things up there.

I think the first solid memories are probably when Hayley showed up looking for Will and all the stuff with her and Sam tagging the Bay, one of their friends died maybe? Then all the stuff with the drop in centre and from there on.

My first memory is Don and Marilyn's wedding. I remember there was some competition on during the ads where you had to recognize a picture of a Summer Bay local. It was Alf. I thought it was Donald. I used to think they Don and Alf looked alike for some reason. Not sure why...

After that, my next really vivid memories would be the 1997 cyclone with Justine taking a boat out to sea and being rescued by Ian. Then Selina's non-wedding/capture by Saul. I was convinced it had been Joey who kidnapped Selina because for some reason I wanted them to marry. I hated Steven (I had no idea he was an original foster kid).

And I remember the promo for Selina's final episode - and it showed clips of Shannon. I was so excited because I thought Shannon was coming back (she wasn't). Shannon was my favourite character at that point. Not sure why given that I can't actually recall any of her storylines...

My first memory of H&A was a bit of a random storyline, Duncan (Duncan as a child - before he was SORAS'ed by a few years) swallowing a marble, or something like that?? It would have been sometime around the mid-90's, I'm guessing, before I started watching it properly. A bit of a random first memory of H & A, I know! Anyway, I seem to remember Duncan had swallowed a marble (or a ring??) and Ailsa was all in a flap about it. I've never seen anyone else mention this story, so on one level I'm wondering if I imagined the whole thing! Does this ring a bell with anyone, I wonder??

Also one of the first memories I have of H & A once I started watching it "full-time" (about 1998ish) was not long after Gypsy and her family arrived in the Bay, Gypsy and her long-haired brother went out for a cycle. Gypsy fell off her bike or something and Travis went to assist her. "Leave her alone, who are you, the local pervert?" Tom said (or words to that effect). "Kids, I think you will find... that is your uncle," Joel said dramatically. Cue shocked-looking faces from Gypsy and Tom! I thought that was funny!
