Perhaps they'll do what they did for episode 5000 and subtly reference the milestone, or perhaps not acknowledge it at all. I'd say not at all. I think we can count any kind of a reunion out as we would have heard of people filming.
Jezz Posted May 12, 2014 Report Posted May 12, 2014 Let's not jump the gun until episode 6000 officially airs on TV. For example Alf's 60th Birthday celebrations which marked the 4000th episode of the show in 2005 didn't start arising until around two weeks before the episode aired and most of us thought episode 4000 would be low-key especially after the Summer Bay Stalker storyline was huge earlier in the same year so we wondered as viewers as to how episode 4000 could outdo that episode but in the end episode 4000 held itself together and brought some of our favourites albeit for a brief time only. Therefore let's be patient and see how episode 6000 plays out before we cast judgment on it before it airs on TV.

Not sure when will it air in UK but probably I think in mid July/early August...? As UK is eight weeks behind Australia and seven weeks behind NZ.

It'll probably be on Thursday July 3 2014 in Australia because we no longer have episodes airing on Friday anymore due to the football coverage.
