Yes I was watching from a very young age ha. I was just talking to a work colleague yesterday and she said is that still on? I fell out of it a few years back but my favourite episodes were the people smuggling, Charlie, the River Boys, I mentioned Zoey and the stalker and she said OMG YES, and then went on to talk about other storylines. I said to her I called that the danger decade. 2000 to 2010. It would be nice to see some repeats over the season break. Hopefully they do. Quote

It makes me think of the friends episode when they were all turning thirty and damn I thought they were so old when I was a kid. Time flies! I fell out of watching at least 12/13 years ago as I just lost interest and never went back…. I hardly watch any soaps now. I’ll always love my memories of the show as a kid though. Quote

James Martin Posted December 4, 2025 Report Posted December 4, 2025 Quick heads up that there are NO 5 Star transmissions of either Episodes 8600 or 8601 on Friday evening. Your only chances to watch Episode 8600 are therefore Thursday 18:30 on 5 Star & Friday 13:00 on 5 proper, as well as 5 Streaming. I assume 8601 will drop at 6am on Friday 2nd January? 1 Quote

The show is being dropped from Channel 5 entirely, with the only linear showings on 5 Star. Can't say I didn't see that one coming as Hollyoaks went there a few years ago. Curiously, though, they're still keeping the "first look" thing, so the streaming drops are a day ahead - not that I think the blocks really mean anything now. Quote

Everyone I know streams it now via the app. I just hope they continue to advertise it etc! Although it's always at the top of the most popular on the app so I don't think that press release is all rubbish and fobbing off. Itl be interesting to see if it affects the linear ratings on 5star for those that like to record on a sky box etc. Quote
