Like she said, it seems to be a British thing, maybe this new show will change the way she is perceived over there and she'll get recognised more for her role in 'Hunted' over H&A.

Given that 'Hunted' has been well panned over here, that might elicit an "I hope so" or "I hope not" - depending on your take on Melissa's reported attitude towards H&A, and whether that's counterbalanced by memories of her role on the show.

Or at least, 'hopefully for her' so that she won't be so frustrated when H&A is brought up because whether she likes it or not, she will be asked about it for the rest of her life probably. I think she should just be proud of it, she would be better respected.

I suppose it must be frustrating to be constantly asked about a role you haven't been in for over 15 years.

Yes but she needs to grow a spine. It's where she got her break & she'll be asked questions about till the day she dies. The same way Ron Howard is asked about Happy Days and Michelle Williams is asked about Dawson's Creek.
