rachel1990 Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 Its nice to see Sally comforting Sophie. Sal is maturing into a lovely girl who puts other people first. Just go away Ryan please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sam conning the tooth fairy was fantastic Grant really can't see that Crawford is poison. Just watch Prisoner in cell block H. However if he did that - He would know that Alf was pure evil. Alisa was a bank robber, Celia was an evil guard and Pippa liked plants. Moving on quickly from 856-860 there are some massive changes which I'm looking forward too apart from one which will scare me more than anything Greg's arrival which shows how little time Bobby has left I'm not sure it's really that much of a cause for concern it's not like Sophie and David where he dies as soon as they get together, she's still around for over a year after Greg turns up.By the time they finally pull the plug on Bobby, Marilyn will have been gone for over six months, we'll have had the whole of Simon's tenure as a regular, Ryan will have gone, come back, gone, come back and gone again, Sophie will have had a full term pregnancy, been a mother on the show for a few months and left, Pippa will have had a full term pregnancy, been a mother on the show for a bit and had the baby die, Karen will have got out of jail and taken Blake off with her, we'll have met two differents Irenes and Shane and Angel will be all loved up! I still find it scary how far we have come with Bobby though
beau_t Posted April 26, 2013 Report Posted April 26, 2013 It is scary. Regardless of how far off certain things are, the arrival of Greg still signals certain things are closer than they are far away.
Blaxland 89 Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 I've noticed that a lot of the crew and writers have come back from 1988, 1989 in the past couple of months.

Blaxland 89 Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 Ep 853. That saxophone piece hasn't been used for a while. And WOW. That restaurant that Nick is at is the same restaurant used for the episode in 1998 for Vinnie and his two dates.

Surprised they still had the set lying around by then, probably the most unrealistic restaurant I've ever seen.
Ryan Posted April 27, 2013 Report Posted April 27, 2013 As a semi-interesting aside, Episode 850 uses in it's recap a clip from Episode 838, 12 episodes previous. I wonder what the largest gap is between a clip being aired for the first time and use in a recap.

I wonder what the largest gap is between a clip being aired for the first time and use in a recap.I seem to remember that a much more recent episode used a clip from months previous in the recap. It might have been in 2009 when Angelo came back, I think they showed the clip of him shooting Jack in the recap from 70+ episodes earlier.
alexx Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 Just caught up to episode 843. Awesome line Bobby had, asking Lois Crawford what had happened to her to make her such a bitch. Looked like she enjoyed saying that too! Haha It was great to watch Karen's exit and the aftermath of the crash. I assume it was her exit in episode 842 anyhow. What a mess. I went from feeling sorry for her one minute, to finding her irritating the next and then back again. When she was crying about David being killed to Ailsa - it seemed like she was only really feeling sorry for herself. Nice scene at the end of 843 Blake/Alf. I also enjoyed the build up throughout the episode and it was a nice touch Hayden rubbing Karen's name off the board.
Summer_Bay_Sunshine Posted April 28, 2013 Report Posted April 28, 2013 Not one of the best storylines the Nick/Lou/Ryan love triangle :-o
