One of them is having secret meetings with Karen (and is shown actually crawling out from behind a rock to meet her by the beach) while the other one is working his way into Sophie's pants while pretending to be the nice guy rescuing and helping the stricken cockatoo in the caravan park.

Old H&A Fan Posted March 7, 2013 Report Posted March 7, 2013 Did anyone else notice how Marilyn (whose character bio is about being brought up by the Holy Penguins in an orphanage, and because of that has a "no-sex-before-marriage" type attitude) made a big fuss because those 2 boys asked her to climb the ladder so they could see up her dress? The way she went on about how "dirty" those boys are once she realised (with the help of Alsa) why she was asked to climb up the ladder. What I say is, Big deal! If you don't want people looking up your dress, don't wear a dress. Otherwise, put up and shut up I'd say. It's normal for men to look up there. It's natural, not "dirty". It's the way it is! Like it or lump it, Marilyn!
Red Ranger 1 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Er, what men do you know?Because, really, it is not normal to look up a woman's dress.It is childish and insulting and anyone who does it obviously can't get a girlfriend or they wouldn't need to resort to cheap thrills.If Marilyn wanted people to look at her underwear, she wouldn't wear a dress, she'd walk around with it all on show.(And just how long is she meant to have been in an orphanage?Because now her character bio seems to be that she was brought up by her aunt.) I think most people would think the men who actually want to have a relationship and a family with girls/women are the ones doing what's natural...

Matt is not normal? because Marilyn even had the gall to accuse them of treating her "like a piece of meat". It's not really that hard to expose your underwear when wearing a dress (especially a miniskirt) anyway, and underwear shouldn't be considered really private. Being naked (ie. no underwear beneath the dress) would be different. Childish and insulting it may be, but can be overlooked and ignored.
