beau_t Posted February 17, 2013 Report Posted February 17, 2013 Yeah it seemed strange to hear Nick make an issue out of something that you wouldn't even blink at today. I think even in the early 90s it wasn't a big deal really. Nick did acknowledge that it was old fashioned of him and knowing his character, it suited him. I think it says more about his character than the attitudes of the time.
Old H&A Fan Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Loo is the one making an issue of who "makes the first move" I mean so what? Good on Nick for standing up against that sort of PC rubbish.
Red Ranger 1 Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 I think Nick's reaction is the one that makes me think "so what?"A pretty girl who he likes kisses him.And instead of celebrating like any other male would, he sulks that he didn't get to kiss her first?
Natasha Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Tracey's been caught out! I'm looking forward in seeing how she talks her way out of this one. And I can't believe Mrs Lynch and Pippa still don't believe that Sophie would never rip out the pages of the books. She knew how precious they were to Mrs Lynch.
Natasha Posted February 18, 2013 Report Posted February 18, 2013 Tracey is GONE! Yay! Can't wait to see how she copped it.
Old H&A Fan Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 I think Nick's reaction is the one that makes me think "so what?"A pretty girl who he likes kisses him.And instead of celebrating like any other male would, he sulks that he didn't get to kiss her first? I agree, it is a bit strange. But it was the way Loo ranted on about feminist rights and "the ball and chain". If you look at it from the point of view of a guy rejecting a pretty girl kissing him first, it looks more like a scripting error as Nick liked her, so what's wrong with her kissing him? The reasoning in the "discussion" they had is wrong, and the wrong issues were brought into it. (this is a bit hard to explain, and my post sounds unclear)
Abesty Posted February 19, 2013 Report Posted February 19, 2013 Seems like the others only found out that Tracey lied about wrecking the books and that is why she left. There was no acknowledgment that everyone was wrong about all the other things Sophie said she didn't do and they didn't believe her. No real punishment. Imagine if she stayed as Pippa wanted her to, she might have kept doing things! Anyway good riddance to her ...

I think Sophie needs a quiet time on the show now. Oh wait... Lou's brother is coming
j.laur5 Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 I wish everyone stop carry on about Marilyn and Hayden as Marilyn is about 6 years older then Hayden.
