RR, I was getting Sophie mixed up with Chloe.

I liked seeing Shane and Angel on their break, she was always a bit of a hippy type.

If everyone knew that Curtis and Shannon weren't biological brother and sister why the fuss?

I so remember Angel and Shane's wedding!!!! Her walking down the aisle holding onto Donald for dear life was so moving. Someone mentioned Alf was missing from the wedding guests, apart from him maybe being away doing something, could it be because he had caused her to be in a wheelchair be why he wasn't there? I did wonder, with others, why Frankie wasn't there, considering her and Angel were supposed to be so close and there was that big argument between Angel and Shane when Angel suggested she move in with them and he said he wanted it to be just the two of them. The Selina we saw was obviously the new and improved Selina, seeing how much of a wild child she was when she first arrived. I would have liked to have seen more of Donald being drunk. :D The true cause of the fire would be bound to come out. Was it written somewhere that Pippa always had to wear some rerally frumpy outfits, the one she wore to Angel's wedding just seemed to hang on her and everyone was raving about it. I'm not saying she would be expected to wear some tight fitting dresses, just something with a little more shape.

My memory isn't that good to remember bits that were cut or not cut, but the scenes of Bobby and Alisa did seem longer than when I saw them first time round. Seemed odd to see Sally, hadn't she grown btw, if you know what I mean, being a stroppy teenager after being such a model daughter up to then. Jack may have been a pain in the neck, but he was looking out for Sally by trying to warn her about Gus.

I miss the opening credits, which have now been replaced with 'previously on H&A'.

First up tonight, the episode that made me a fan of Archie Roach :P

I've always liked Don and Maz's wedding too with a lot of it being seen through Shannon's camcorder - quite a different feel for the episode.

I've always loved the way that they dedicate nearly the first 10 minutes of that episode just to seeing people around the bay react to the news that one of their friends has died.... nowadays you don't get to see that as much, it's always "I've got something to tell you...." before they cut away to someone else who has already been told the news. This just seemed far more genuine in that we actually see it "rock the bay" or suchlike. The same goes later in the ep where we see Angel just lying on the bed with Don's muffled voice in the background as he's on the phone to Nick informing him of the news.

Looking at this and comparing it to what we just watched, did ITV cut Kelly saying he went into "septic shock" and Dr McClaren probably being the first to mention Shane's fate, discretely slipped into the conversation.

Forgot to mention Don's poem voiceover, really love that sequence aswell - it does seem to be a recurring thing over the years, with the poem he ran through his head as Judith departed (and to a lesser extent the one he read to his class on his last day). It does work well for his character.
